Sing along:
You better watch out, you better not cry
Better not pout, I’m telling you why
God is coming to town
He’s making a list and checking it twice
Gonna find out who’s naughty and nice
God is coming to town
God sees you when you’re sleeping
God knows when you’re awake
God knows if you’ve been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake
Oh! You better watch out, you better not cry
Better not pout, I’m telling you why
God is coming to town
Obviously these aren’t the lyrics to this well known song…but hang with me for a minute …I’ll explain where I’m going with this:
I think sometimes we can ‘rob’ God of the awesome power that God has…and we do this by ‘humanizing’ God.
We make God ‘in our image’ versus the opposite. We give God our human-like qualities and limitations like jealousy, judgment, and a plethora of other grossly limiting human characteristics – Just like Santa Claus.
One of the very first things I’ve learned in studying the Law Of Attraction is that it seems to break God out of the box (or chimney) we stuff God in. It shows that God is ALL-powerful and has unlimited ability to do any and everything.
You’ll notice I don’t refer to God as “he” or “him” because again…can I really put God in the ‘box’ of gender? I think God is so much larger than “a dude”.
The lyrics, “He’s making a list and checking it twice, Gonna find out who’s naughty and nice…” is a perfect example of what I’m talking about. God, being in the infinite entity of love isn’t sitting somewhere in the sky with a pimped-out laptop computer keeping tally of all the things you do good and bad; then making a ‘judgment’ call about great your rewards or how severe your punishment may be i.e sinning. That’s ridiculous.
What I see, in the plain of the singular energy (God), is that the energy you place out into the Universe is what you get. Because there is only the one source energy – God and we’re all a part of that same energy. We aren’t separate from God (nor each other).
I highly encourage you to take a moment to hear what a good friend of mine has to say on the topic of humanizing God. Click Here
So it’s impossible to look at ‘sinning’ in that way. I think sinning is an act of energy. You put energy out into the Universe and you get that same energy back. It’s just that simple. You do something “bad” like stealing, you’ll get that same energy back. Not necessarily someone stealing from you…but you’ll get back the energy of lack and limitation that stealing comes from. If you do something that helps the community, you’ll get back the energy of sharing, loving and abundance – period.
Everything else is made up constructs to create fear, limitations and control.
Practical Application
Think about how you are seeing God. Are you trying to stuff God into some cramped chimney? If so, you’re totally ripping God off of the awesome power that God really is.Let’s strive for an ‘inhumane’ God!!
I highly encourage you to take a moment to hear what a good friend of mine has to say on the topic of humanizing God…Click Here

I really do like this post.
Hay YOU better watch out! THis is like blasphemy!? You shouldn’t be making fun of God like that!!!!!!!!
Wow, man you really make a great point here. I can see exactly what you’re talking about and we don’t even realize we’re doing it.
Ryan – I disagree. If you really read the post, you’ll see that this isn’t saying anything bad about God. It’s actually the opposite!
When I heard the song at the begining, I was really wondering what you were trying to prove, but I do get your point.
It makes sense to me now 😉
this could be offensive to people. you shoudln’t make comments about god like this.
I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU!!! The paster at our church was just talking about this 3 days ago!
She said that we make God like us and we all know that we’re flawed and imperfect, but God is not.
wow… this is a great confirmation for me.
This is an absolutely amazing post! I appreciate your courage in saying this.
All I can say is Wow, Wow…and WOW.
I’ve just forwarded this to my ENTIRE contact list.
Agree with you on the concept on sin. There really is no sin…it’s all just a matter of how high the vibration is. Some things are higher than others.
In a weird moment of synchronicity, as I hit submit to the comment above, One Vision by Queen just came on iTunes…
Lyrice like:
No wrong no right,
I’m gonna tell you there’s no black and no white,
No blood no stain,
All we need is one world wide vision
http://www.lyrics007.com/Queen%20Lyrics/One%20Vision%20Lyrics.html has the rest.
I could see where this could be a problem for those who place God in a box. Although there actually are scriptures in the bible that state that your actions here on earth, the world that God created for us, will be judged and it will determine how you live in the eternal life.
I’ve been reading Purpose Driven Life–Rick Warren
really great book check it out.
I do believe that energy out equals the energy you get back. But I also know in the end God will have a say on what i did on earth.
God, the Infinite Source Energy from which we all came, is always in town. It is we humans, individualized sparks of our Source, who are in and out of town! Spark on. . . Charlsie
Hey Dave,
Glad to see the energy is flowing for you too.
By the way I love that Queen song! 🙂
Kevin,
I agree with you. However as I said in the post, I feel we all are living the consequences (both “good and bad”) of the choices we’ve made, but I don’t feel that it’s ‘judged’.
I don’t “disagree” with your statement…because that your belief. I don’t believe that God of pure love would ‘judge’ anything we do.
Charlsie…
I couldn’t agree with you more… Not only is God always in town…God IS the town! 😀
Thanks Dianna 🙂
Ryan, I’m not clear on why you feel my post is ‘blasphemy’
Hello Antonio,
This couldn’t get simplier. My daughter is listening now also. Your deliver of the law of attraction is one or a kind. I love it. Its like talking to my brother. By the way after watching the movie for 4 months i said to myself one day, it would be nice to have a different explination of the secret. While searching the i-tunes podcasts, there u were, 1 wks later. I’m a sponge for everyone i meet now.
Georgia
WOW. FINALLY SOMEBODY talks about something REAL, GREAT post! Have you ever read ‘A New Earth’ by Eckhart Tolle, btw? YOU would like it!
Hi Antonio,
It’s Glen here, from Darwin Australia.
You are just so, so right about what you say.
I don’t know if you got to read the email I sent to you a short time ago, about my journey into the other Dimensions, or not.
I was priveldged enough to spend 4 weeks in the world of what is called death. I learnt so much, and wasshown and taught so much, that one day, I will write a book about the truths of the Universe, through the eyes of The Creator. (GOD)
I was shown the Planet Earth from the very begining of time to way,way ahead into the time coming long, long after we are gone.
In the Universal Law there is no right or wrong, there just is. I will give you a quick example of what I mean.
If you look at a knife, and Humans as the Law see’s it, there are two things that are no different in the eyes of The Creator.
Someone that stabs people and a Surgeon.
Not everyone that is stabbed dies, and not everyone that is cut with a scalpel lives. It is just knife cutting flesh, no different.
We create everything for our selves and our Planet, and the Peace will come, when a large enough part of the poeple on the Planet start believing it will come.
Enogh for now. If you ever want to talk about what I have seen then email me your number and I will ring you. If you are on Skype then let me know and I will use that.
May you go in a peaceful journey, My Friend.
Regards Glen. email:noharm@bigpond.com
Greetings…
Personally, I believe it’s time for people to “get over” their fear of God. Why would you be afraid of unconditional love? Why would you be afraid of the same love that lives within you. It’s simple! You’ve been trained you’re not worthy. You’ve been “commanded” to live a certain way or it’s curtains for certain. Not true! Facts keep the confusion out. Confusion keeps the facts out.
You’ve been trained that you’ve sinned. Let’s look at sin from another perspective. Could it be that all sin means is separation? Could it be that it means separation from the good, kind, loving, sharing soul you already are?
You’re not that body. You’re a soul. You are, you have been and you always will be. As a soul, you are energy, a life force in a body. For some of you this is old news, but be patient, there are some reading something like this for the first time.
Traditionally, religions were created by loving spiritual leaders. These leaders were advanced souls with awareness and insights of spirit and were willing to go out on a limb and share their universal wisdom with a group of other souls who could identify with the message.
But then our “egos” got involved and our religious leaders started comparing and competing, much like some of us do today. They really didn’t want people to be “free,” because they needed to fill the temples or churches. If you agreed with them, you were OK. If not, your life was in jeopardy. Heck, in the old days, I’d be in big trouble just of this post. The religious concepts of God was limited, confused and misunderstood ideas at best. But, because of tradition, they’ve continued. They’ve lived on!
Here’s something to consider – have you ever been in a state of happiness? I mean sheer unadulterated joy? Did you notice that everywhere you looked, people were either happy or on their way to being happy? And if the people you saw weren’t happy, you forgave them anyway? Have you noticed than when you are in a loving state, you see people as being loving?
Now imagine for a minute that all you see is loving souls. You understand they may be confused at times, but you know they are loving souls. It’s kinda like watching grade school kids struggling through life and relationships. They’ll screw up, but you love them anyway and know they’ll figure things out.
Can they really make a mistake? No. Oh, heck, they can stub their toes, but we’re talking big time mistakes? If you were love, could you really see big mistakes? Probably not! Thus the soul’s mistake would be forgiven, because to you, as God, the mistakes never occured or were really insignificant in the big picture.
Hope this helps-you can disagree and that’s OK, but it’s my story and I’m stickin to it!

I believe in The Law of Attraction. I believe that our thoughts and our decisions create our lives. I also believe in God and His Word. He is love. He also gets angry, sad,He laughs, and cries. Which is why we have those emotions, because we are created in His image. He said the only door to Heaven is Jesus Christ. We have to believe in Jesus. That He came here to die for our sins and went back to Heaven to prepare a place for us. If you don’t believe that, you can attract anything you want here on earth and it will not help you in eternity. Having The Law of Attraction AND God AND knowing you are going to spend eternity in Heaven is the greatest gift we can ever experience. There is nothing you can’t do.
God Bless us all, Anna
When I think of God or my Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omnipresent I think Universal. Thank you for bringing to light the littleness we bestow on the absolute that God is.

We are the furthest expression of God and we are all connected to the source of God’s power. Therefore we have the same power. I know I will get ridiculed for this, but we have to realize in essence we are God. How else can God know so much about everyone unless God was everyone. The judgement of whether something you do is good or bad is totally how you view it according to your own moral compass. If you live under a Christian doctrine then you judge yourself and others under the pretense of that doctrine. But does that make the person that lives under a Muslim doctrine wrong. In your eyes yes…in their eyes, you are wrong. If everyone would understand that we are the Gods that judge our lives then there wouldnt be any hate or destruction in the name of God in order to “convert” or punish those that dont follow your religion.
Thats my two dollars…because my words are worth more than two cents. I am Sharif and I approve of this message.
I love this post! I was just speaking with my mom about this yesterday. So many people do not worship the God that they believe that they do, but instead worship the Greek God Zeus. I find it extremely ironic that some of the most religious individuals of the Abrahamic religions are technically pagan. At the same time, this creating God in our image is not unique to any one religion; it can be observed across multiple.
I agree wholeheartedly with you when you state that the study of LOA gives new understanding the to concept of God. Awesome post Antonio!
I agree with LOA because it agree with the Word of God(Bible). LOA calls bad energy what Bible calls sin. LOA gives all the concepts a secular name it is therefore accepted by all.
The only BOX I limit God to, is the Bible and Bible does not limit God. It is our understanding of the the Word that limits God. We are like a speck in this Universe and yet we claim to KNOW ALL! ‘Ego’. If only we could tame that.
Hi! I was surfing and found your blog post… nice! I love your blog. 🙂 Cheers! Sandra. R.
God is a belief. God is everywhere at any time. we only have to believe in him and he will shown up. God is like a motive of being good persons and do good things. Is the motive of loving the people, and help the ones who need to. If we show love and kindness to God, he will give us back love and kindness. If we have faith to God, he will help us reach our goals. The only he ask from us is to be good persons, make good things and help the ones who need it.
Very well said, Antonio!
For me, I hold fast to the moral of the story of the blind men and the elephant:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blind_men_and_an_elephant
I will not claim to know exactly what G*d is, but I know whatever I perceive is only a small part of the bigger picture, and no matter what we individually come to understand, there’s always more that remains beyond what we can perceive. One must keep an open mind, a sense of reverence, and an ongoing, and ever-deepening understanding of our relationship with G*d’s awesome power.
Thanks for re-posting this – I didn’t see this before!
Brian,
Man, I’m really glad you shared that story…I heard it so long ago that I’d forgotten all about it. Was really refreshing to relive the learning experience from it. Thanks!
Antonio, I receive your emails and go to your blog because you have some helpful stuff at times. I enjoy your energy and the passion with which you write. It is inspirational to me and I thank you. I knew before I subscribed to your site that your views on God were vague and more along the lines of a “Universal Mind” in theology.
No matter what you do, or how you analyze the nature of God
it will always be a god of your own making.
God has revealed himself in the Bible. His nature was exposed by his son, Jesus.
And the record of witnesses are abundant.
While I can marvel at the complexities, and the intricacies of what he has put me in charge of when it comes to my brain. I still have the ability and the desire to give him the credit for it.
God has also given you every right to use what he has given you and deny any association with him. I only hope that what has gone viral and given you additional notoriety will lead you to re-think your use of “God.”
There to work as to be something faulty although using the link you posted, it is sending me to your main page, and I can not see what the link is ought to be.
