Stop Crapping On Yourself, You're A Genius…

I just got back from what I think was one of the most amazing marketing events I’ve attended in my life.

It was a marketing conference…but not just ANY marking conference. THE marketing conference of the decade…and I don’t say that lightly. If this gives you any idea: they were charging $10,000 per person.

Not only were all the presenters top-notch marketers, but EVERY person in the audience was a “mover-and-shaker.” It was like a “who’s-who” of the marketing community.

At one point of the conference, I was standing in the back of the room with a guy I knew and we calculated that there was about 600-800 million dollars of revenue generated from the people in that room. Amazing!

Anyway, long story short…

I have to admit that I was rather intimidated initially. A lot of the guys in the room were people who I’d learned from years ago…so it was a little overwhelming at first.

I started going into a ‘not worthy’ feeling and began feeling bad.

Let me show you how the Law of Attraction works BOTH WAYS…

I started this totally destructive conversation in my head about “how I’m not smart enough”, “how I shouldn’t be there”, “how no one would want to talk to me”, etc.

It was horrible.

Shortly after, we broke for lunch in a ballroom designated for the people at this event.

So, I’m in line (at the end) and when I get inside, I see that the majority of the tables are already taken.

So I rush to get my food only to find out that EVERY SINGLE SEAT was taken.

A few minutes later, the wait staff brought out another table, so I’m sitting there at this table – BY MYSELF.

I felt like crap…and I should have, because I created it for myself.

I sent out the intention that I shouldn’t be there and no one would talk to me and guess what I got? Just what I ‘asked’ for…sitting at a table by myself in a room full of people.

I got up and left.

I had to.

I was spiraling down a path that was totally unproductive and was getting worse by the moment.

So I stood outside for a moment and starting doing a Law of Attraction exercise I’ve been using to change my mind-state. I was focusing on people talking to me and wanting to do business with me.

About 30 seconds later, a guy I knew walked up and asked me “what’s wrong?”

Initially, I was going to lie and say, “Oh, nothing…just needed some fresh air..” But for some strange reason, I decided not to. I felt that he would have somehow “known”. So, I told him what was bothering me.

It was a little odd at first, because though we’ve known each other for several years, we don’t have that type of relationship. Nevertheless, I felt better after telling him.

And his reply to me was just what I needed to hear.

He said, “Dude, stop [crapping] on yourself…you’re a marketing genius! I just read about that product you launched in a marketing forum and they were talking about how cool it was that you made $100K in a week.”

He went on to say, “You’re here aren’t you? If you weren’t supposed to be here, you wouldn’t [freakin’] be here. There are thousands of people who’d give their left [arm] to be in a room full of multi-millionaire marketers, and they’re not…you are”

WOW

Talk about a timely message.

Immediately I felt better and we went back into the room and sat down and ate.

A few minutes later, the actual guys who were putting on the event sat down at the table with me and they shared some pretty powerful ideas that totally blew me away (more on that later).

What an extraordinary experience!

The law of attraction is an absolutely amazing. Within a matter of minutes, I created a totally destructive situation for myself, but was able to turn it around to move myself into a much more empowering place.

The moral of the story,

Stay aware of how you’re feeling and especially what you’re thinking. It’s amazing how powerful the brain is and what you can create for yourself.

    Antonio,

What an excellent and timely share.

As I’ve told you before, “you have
    greatness within you”.

Let no one convince you otherwise ….
    including ….YOU!

    Much Love,

    Wow-
Talk about a timely message. When I opened up my e-mail, I was in the midst of “crapping on myself” I just launched an ad, and even though I know how good my writing is, because I hadn’t gotten an immediate response, I was already starting to doubt everything from my headline to my pitch.

Then i recieved an incredibly random and poignant e-mail telling me to stop crapping on myself, because I’m a genius. Thank you. Very cool.

Law of Attraction at its best as far as I’m concerned.

Have an Abundant Day. ( I know I will)

Needed to hear this today…..I had a similar situation but on matters of the heart, and after flowing love to the situation it immediately changed. We are more powerful than we will probably ever comprehend!! and its all about changing the way we look at the world and the world we look at will change, I love it!!!

    Hey Antonio,
    Great Podcast!!!
I can really REALLY relate to your situation. In the past several months, I’ve been dealing with some friendship problems. And before my ex-friends finally betrayed me, I would say things like ” I’m not going to have any friends”;my feelings toward it made me feel like an outcast and unworthy of friendship. Low and Behold… they “abandoned” me. I was very hurt because they were my closet friends and I never expected them to do something like that. BUT…when my negative feelings began to subside, better things came to my rescue. I stared, not right away but it fair timing, making new friends. And we clique!! From this situation, I realized that, the betrayal by my ex-friends was destined to happen because of how I looked at the conflict we had and blaming myself for it. I gave absolute power to being alone and feeling like a weirdo!!! However, the Law of Attraction did work in both ways. I did lose friends then started making new ones. From this situation, I’ve learned that thoughts and feelings control what will happen in the future. I’ve also learned not to allow myself to feel low because it only gets worst.

    Wonderful Advice!!

P.S. YOU should never EVER beat yourself up because you are the best!:)

Fascinating story Antonio, not unlike my own journey. This concept is certainly spreading like wildfire. Everything that comes into your life you are attracting into your life. And it’s attracted in because of the images you are holding in your mind. It’s what you’re thinking. We are what we think. This is an orderly universe. Nothing happens by accident. The thoughts, memories, beliefs, values, and expectations you plant in your brain instantly set up an attractive force, which governs the results in your life. You are a living, breathing magnet. Many people are not wealthy and more fulfilled about the state their lives are in because people habitually think about the things they don’t want, which in turn results in them receiving exactly that – what they don’t want! The secret is to replace what you don’t want by thinking about and attracting what you DO WANT.

For Bob Proctor’s take on this and an opportunity to create wealth go to http://www.attractionlawsecretuniverse.com/rights/attraction.pdf

    Antonio,

I have been listening to your podcast for a few months now, and this story really hit me. It is really true that you relate to people and people relate to you once you share your challenges, and how you overcame those challenges. I admire how you decided to be completely honest with your friend. By doing that you empowered and cleansed yourself, allowing the lao to bring you positive things. It is true, ‘the brightest day comes after the darkest night’.

I am going to try this out as well.

    Keep up the great podcasts!

    Hello there!
I really enjoyed listening to this on your podcast. Your right, sometimes its a challenge to stop the negative thoughts coming in but being aware enough to step infront of them and counter act them with a flood of positive thought can save a LOT of trouble. Hooray for it coming good for you at this conference!
By the way thanks for the Florence Shinn book through your weekly email. I had ordered the ‘writings of florence shinn’ a week before and was waiting for it to ship to england. The very morning I left for work thinking “I wish it would come soon”, I got to work, checked my emails and there was one of the books courtesy of yourself! (and the book arrived two days later…)Thankyou so much. Did you think you’d be part of a manifestation in england when you sent it?
    Have a good day

Law of attraction is truely amazing.

In my own experience, I have also met so many cases whereby whatever I think most will manifest into reality and I am sharing these experiences in my blog.

One of the greatest gift I got is to learnt from Bob Proctor on tips on how to make Law of attraction work and from Stephen pierce on how I can tap into music to improve my visualization. With that, I got results from my vision board in 3 weeks. Wow, I am thrilled.

    Great stuff Antonio!

What impressed me about your experience was the fact that you started doing the Law of Attraction exercise you’d been using to change your mind-state and focusing specifically on what you want; on people talking to me and wanting to do business with me. You had a practice in place to help you address future challenging situations so you weren’t stuck there. Apparently, even the best have to get their thinking straight sometimes.

    Thanks a bunch

    Antonio,

I have recently come across your podcasts and find them interesting, easy-going, and inspiring. I haven’t quite caught up with the most recent podcasts and just heard the “stop crapping on yourself” today. In the podcast, however, you mention some free videos which are available on your site. I tried finding them but was not successful. Perhaps you could let me know if they are still available? Thank you very much. And thank you for the inspiration that you bring !

Thanks for the “examples” you are more than a World Server! “Line-upon-line, precept-on-precept” BUT I am still crapping! Thanks again Ian.
