Wow! Very thought-provoking post and comments! I'm not sure about "Opposites Attract"

Imagine joining the company of someone who was your complete opposite - what would you have in common? I think the Law of Attraction is a secondary influence (interesting touch on the subject of divorce).

Actually, the problem exists because of a misconception about opposites. The Law of attraction operates on the level of Mind which is on a higher dimension than the world of sensory perception. Opposites exist only in the world of perception and are therefore, not real in the same sense that the Mind is real.

Opposites are only projections of the Mind. "Dark" is not the opposite of "Light" but only the absence of light. "Nothingness" does not really exist....only the "Allness" of God. There really are no opposites in the universe but only gradations of things that are projected by the Mind.

With the Law of Attraction, All things are attracted to all other things and the larger attractor fields eventually draw in the smaller attractor fields just like the sun attracts the smaller planets. Mind is that larger attractor field that draws our smaller perceptions about "opposites" into a larger field where they eventually become one with God.

I do agree with you there. It's a matter of choice. Attraction is what creates interest in a person, conversation creates interest to know the person better. and from then on, It will be all about choices.

Afterall, you can choose to put the opposite poles of two magnets together. So I can see both sides
