										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Worst Case Scenarios</strong></p>
<p>You may still be thinking about your goals for this New Year, but fear may be holding you back from actually moving forward.</p>
<p>When you stop to think about the risks, you would see that there really are none. You actually gain from overcoming certain fears. You may gain wisdom, self-esteem, or even a new business venture.<span id="more-1186"></span></p>
<p>You may also picture the worst case scenarios that could happen. While this might be a possibility, you probably have also come to realize that the worst case scenarios, more often than not, never happen.</p>
<p><strong>Fearing to Overcome Fear</strong></p>
<p>Why do you hesitate to overcome your fear? Is it because you think that you have something to risk? Maybe it&#8217;s because you have lost your self-confidence?</p>
<p>These emotions that you may feel are all by choice; you induce them upon yourself they don&#8217;t come from your fears. You choose to feel a lack of confidence or doubtful about yourself or the goal, which causes this fear. So there are times when you simply have to get over it quickly.</p>
<p><strong>It Only Seems Real</strong></p>
<p>The acronym for <strong>FEAR</strong> is <strong>F</strong>alse <strong>E</strong>vidence <strong>A</strong>ppearing <strong>R</strong>eal. It&#8217;s the ‘appearing real’ part that we have to really pay attention to. If it appears real in our perception, it appears real in our reality, and that is significant enough to ultimately prevent you from overcoming your fears and accomplishing your goals.</p>
<blockquote><p>Follow these steps to overcome your fears now:</p>
<blockquote><p>1. Write down all your fears that are holding you back.</p></blockquote>
<blockquote><p>2. Say to yourself &#8220;I will no longer allow you fears to keep me from the life I desire. I decide right now that  I&#8217;m in control and I can have the life I want. I can accomplish any goal I set before myself. I am free of your bonds and I release you.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<blockquote><p>3. Then take the paper and burn it.</p></blockquote>
<p>This is symbolic of you letting your fears go completely and there&#8217;s no looking back.</p></blockquote>
<p>No longer allow fear to control your life. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Consider the very wise words of Winston Churchill who said that, “Success is going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm.” What did he mean exactly? Well here are three reasons as to why failing is a good thing:<span id="more-1134"></span></p>
<p><strong>1. Inspiration</strong> – before you laugh, think about as a child when you didn’t get something right the first time… and you tried again… and again, each time the thought in your head was “I am going to get it right this time!” What better motivation do you need?</p>
<p><strong>2. Humility</strong> – no one is perfect, though there are people who think they are. But, can you imagine a world where no one ever failed and we all walked around thinking we were God’s gift to the world?</p>
<p><strong>3. Learning</strong> – Success makes you feel good, but failing teaches you a lesson. Think back to the first time you swung a bat, learned to walk, or tried to eat with a fork. Did you do it right the first time? I doubt it, did you figure out with each failure what you were doing wrong? Well, if you can swing a bat, walk and eat with a fork today (of course not all at once, lol), then I would guess you did.</p>
<p>It takes a lot of character and courage to continue to fail in order to achieve the greatness the Universe has in store for you. The more failures you have the more successes that will be coming your way. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you could have one wish for the world, what would that wish be? Some would say &#8220;I wish wars would stop&#8221;, or &#8220;I wish crime&#8230;&#8221;, or whatever the case may be. I thought about it for a moment and this is what<span id="more-983"></span> came to me.</p>
<p><strong>What&#8217;s Our Problem?</strong></p>
<p>I think 99.99% of the problems we face as human beings lies within this one area of misunderstanding. It is the belief in the fact that we are separate, meaning I&#8217;m separate from you, you&#8217;re separate from the next person. Its this disbelief or the failure of believing that we are all one. Not in the kind of corny, we-are-the-world type of scenario, but really, we are all one entity. We are different and distinctive individuations of that one entity, but we are all one.</p>
<p><strong>We Are All One</strong></p>
<p>When you think about the beginning or the source, whether you believe in the Big Bang, or whether you believe in the creationism theories, it doesn&#8217;t matter. It&#8217;s the exact same scenario that everything  began as one, and everything is still a part of The One. Regardless if  that &#8220;One&#8221;  is God, dense matter, or whatever you believe,  we are all one, because we all came from Source.</p>
<p>I think what happens, over time and over years in our evolution of intellect, we have gotten away from that understanding that we are all one entity. That&#8217;s where the belief in separatism, and specifically, duality comes into play  the difference between good and evil, right and wrong,  those types of things.</p>
<p>I say, specifically entity, and not were one people, because I think it encompasses all things, trees, grass  everything comes from one Source. Again, I have to emphasize, it doesn&#8217;t matter what your religious or scientific background is, whether you believe in evolution or creationism. Everything started from a single Source, and if everything started from that single Source, then that means that everything is that Source. There is no other than The Source. It&#8217;s just Source, regardless, whether your opinion of Source is dense matter or God. We&#8217;re all that, or we&#8217;re all OF that, if you will. If we&#8217;re all that, we&#8217;re all one.</p>
<p><strong>The Bottom Line</strong></p>
<p>So, all the things that most people would have wished to have  gone away such as, war, hate, anger, fear, etc.,  would have been abolished. There would be no need for people to perpetuate those acts, if we truly understood that we are all one. You cannot do anything to anyone else that is not also done unto yourself. So, you wouldn&#8217;t yell,  steal from,  hit, or hurt another person, because you would know that you would ultimately be yelling, stealing from, hitting, or hurting yourself.</p>
<p>To answer the question, if I had one wish, that wish would be that everyone understood and truly accepted the reality that we are all one.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">All I want you to do is try these two things for a whole week (7 days):</p>
<ol> 1. Keep a smile on your face<br />
2. Greet everyone you meet with a heartfelt hello</ol>
<p>I want you to take notice of the positive things that will manifest from that simple act of kindness. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>How casually we wave and say, “Have a great day!” We say it without<span id="more-920"></span> a thought; we say it whether we mean it or not; we say that whether we are having one, ourselves or not.</p>
<p>This reminds me of all the excitement that everyone feels on the eve of each New Year.  Wishes for a Blessed New Year; A Prosperous Year and great spirits everywhere.</p>
<p>What makes us feel this way? What is different or special about another New Year?  I believe it is &#8220;Hope&#8221;. Hope to start all over again, hope for a chance to make changes. The first few days there are many resolutions made and moral is high. But as the weeks pass so does the enthusiasm.</p>
<p>Do we have to wait for a whole year to get motivated and make resolutions? Of course not!</p>
<p><strong>Everyday is Unique </strong></p>
<p>Do we have to wait for a New Year to feel like a fresh start is possible?  Does not every new day give us an opportunity for a new beginning? Yesterday is gone, today is what you have. You may have made mistakes but they are behind you; today you have an opportunity to make good the losses. Yesterday is lost but <em>right now</em> is yours.</p>
<p>Here are some pointers that will help you make each day a great day:</p>
<ul>
<li>Be thankful for TODAY! You are alive.</li>
<li>Decide and tell yourself “I will have a great day today!”</li>
<li>Treat each day as a NEW DAY with the possibilities of good things.</li>
<li>Begin each day with a plan and purpose.</li>
<li>Every day will have its challenges; treat them as opportunities for growth</li>
<li>At the end of each day spend time to asses where you went wrong and what you can do to improve your tomorrow.</li>
<li>Congratulate yourself on your achievements</li>
<li>Dream and expect a GREAT DAY TOMORROW!</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What makes your day great?</strong></p>
<p>As soon as we say &#8220;great day&#8221; we picture a day where everything goes smoothly, there are no oppositions, no failures.  But in real life, each day may have its own set of surprises. This is not a &#8220;bad&#8221; thing. How we label each situation, &#8220;good&#8221; or &#8220;bad&#8221;, depends on our perception of these events. One person can have a hard day and go to bed exhausted but they feel a sense of accomplishment. On the other hand a person could have had just a small hurdle, such as a traffic jam causing them to be late to work, and moan the whole day long and spoil what could have been a great day.</p>
<p><strong>How do you view life?</strong></p>
<p>What does success mean to you?  Is it luxury, fame, power or just having a simple or quiet life? No matter what it may be that brings you joy, it’s not having any, which will leave your day empty and full of sadness.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I sent out an email the other day that talked about breaking <a title="&quot;Break Any Habit&quot;" href="http://www.short10.com/?c=habits-post" target="_blank">&#8220;bad habits&#8221;</a>. I have received a lot of email from people who said they didn&#8217;t have &#8220;habits&#8221;. A few folks got down right<span id="more-880"></span> offended&#8230; this is good (I&#8217;ll tell you why in a minute).</p>
<p>You can call them what you want:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Baggage</strong></li>
<li><strong>Routines</strong></li>
<li><strong>Patterns</strong></li>
<li><strong>&#8230;even addictions</strong></li>
</ul>
<p>They all boil down to the same thing&#8230;</p>
<p>Doing unproductive things over and over again.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, when we hear things like &#8220;bad habit&#8221; or &#8220;addiction&#8221; we immediately think the worst.  Like a substance abuser or something similar.</p>
<p>A bad habit could be as simple as not balancing your checkbook after EVERY check. This isn&#8217;t life threatening, but it IS a bad habit that can prevent you from achieving the financial goals you may have for yourself.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s the funny things about bad habits:</p>
<p>They are so ingrained into what we do, they almost become a part of who we are&#8230;so much so that we don&#8217;t recognize them when they&#8217;re there.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Here&#8217;s the best way to determine if you have any &#8220;bad&#8221; habits in your life:<br />
<em></em></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Are you living the life you want?</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>If not, you&#8217;ve got <a title="&quot;Break Any Habit&quot;" href="http://www.short10.com/?c=habits-post" target="_blank">&#8220;BAD HABITS&#8221;</a>!!!</strong></p>
<p>These bad habits are keeping you from being the person you want to be and to have<br />
the things you want to have.</p>
<p>So next you may be wondering <em>&#8220;Well how do I break these &#8216;bad habits&#8217;?&#8221;</em></p>
<p>It&#8217;s simple follow these steps:</p>
<ol>
<li><strong>Figure out what&#8217;s the Payoff</strong></li>
<p>-Why do you do this negative thing, what do you get out of it?<br />
Example: If you procrastinate maybe it gives you the opportunity to put that thing off and not think about it right now because you would rather do something more enjoyable.</p>
<li><strong>Figure out what&#8217;s the Trade Off</strong></li>
<p>-What is it that your losing by doing this negative thing repetitively?<br />
Example: Procrastination makes you irresponsible and unable to get things done in a timely matter, it also creates stress around trying to complete things at the last minute, if it gets done at all.</p>
<li><strong>Make a choice</strong></li>
<p>-Now you know your <em>Payoff</em> and <em>Trade Off</em> which do you put more value on, which do you actively choose?<br />
Example: Would you rather procrastinate for the temporary satisfaction of doing something else with that time or make sure your responsibilities are completed in a timely manner with less stress, especially since it&#8217;s something you will have to do anyway?</p>
<li><strong>Create Better Behaviors</strong></li>
<p>-You created these &#8220;bad habits&#8221; to fill a need, now find a better way to fulfill this need without feeling bad about yourself.<br />
Example: Taking care of your responsibilities without procrastinating will make you feel good about completing them with less stress and time to spare. This will also help you move in a positive direction with regards to reaching your goals. You will then have more time and money to do the things you enjoy doing.</ol>
<p>Now it&#8217;s up to you, if you feel yourself reverting back to those <a title="&quot;Break Any Habit&quot;" href="http://www.short10.com/?c=habits-post" target="_blank">&#8220;bad habits&#8221;</a> think about what you are choosing. Make the choice that helps you move toward becoming who you want to become and having the lifestyle you want to have.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Picking up where I left off in the last post.</p>
<p>My conversation with this young lady turned into a whole new conversation when I pointed out that she was getting so upset about something that she had a significant level of attachment to. A significant level of what I’d like to call ‘significance’ which is the weight or importance that you put on something that can easily be causing that level of frustration.</p>
<p>What I was explaining to her is this: <span id="more-784"></span>sometimes you may or may not know what you are thinking at any given time on a subconscious level, or believing, more specifically, about something at any given time. She told me, “Well, I’ve read this book and I’ve read that book, and I’ve done this work this weekend, and I cleared it out, all of my financial blocks.” And I asked her, “You cleared out your financial blocks in one weekend?” She goes, “Well, yeah, I did. Because I did this self-evaluation and blah, blah, blah, and all my blocks were cleared. And I still don’t know why I didn’t get this thing.” I said, “Okay.”</p>
<p>Well, I’m not here to tell anyone that they can or cannot clear up something within one weekend. But I will say this: Based on my studies, and my 20+ years of research into the human mind, the human brain, human behavior, and how humans interact with the rest of the world, it’s highly unlikely that a 20, 30, 40, 50-year-old person can completely change their entire belief system in one weekend.</p>
<p>Now wait,  hear me out, please.  I am not, by any means, saying that it is impossible. I am not, by any means, saying that it cannot be done. I’m sure that it has been done, and I’m sure that it will be done again. However, I think it is the exception rather than the norm.</p>
<p>I really do feel that it takes a little bit more work than picking up a book, reading it, and saying, “After having read this book, I’ve dropped all of my negative or self-defeating or limiting belief systems that I’ve been living my entire life.”</p>
<p>I think it is very unlikely – not impossible. Not impossible, by any means, but I do think that it is unlikely. Again, of course, this is based on my research. This is based on my experience, not only with myself, but with other people as well.</p>
<p>Again, I have to emphasize: I am sure that someone has had a life-changing situation. That’s really the caveat that I’d like to add in. Typically, when someone makes a huge paradigm shift like that, it’s because of some type of life-changing or traumatic, or I would just say some hugely significant event – a car wreck, someone dying or getting really sick, or some other major life event – that causes someone to really stop in their tracks and reflect.</p>
<p>Again, I have to emphasize, I know I’ve said it a few times, and I’m not saying that a book could not do that. I’m not saying that a home-study program that you took in one weekend couldn’t do that. I’m not saying that a weekend seminar couldn’t do that. However, again, based on my studies, I find it to be highly unlikely that that is the case.</p>
<p>I say this, because I want you to understand that it is a process. <p>I don&#8217;t know what other way to put it.</p>
<p>I haven&#8217;t been sick&#8230;in almost two decades.  Not even as much as a common cold since December 11th 1989.</p>
<p>Until now&#8230;</p>
<p>This week I got sick&#8230; and not only did I get sick, I came down with <span id="more-496"></span>strep throat AND pink eye at the same time!</p>
<p>Geez!</p>
<p>Now, you may be wondering what this has to do with the Law of Attraction&#8230;</p>
<p>Well &#8211; EVERYTHING!</p>
<p>One of the fundamental principles of the Law of Attraction is that our physical experiences are the EFFECTS of mental and emotional CAUSES.</p>
<p>What does this mean?</p>
<p>This means that when you&#8217;re experiencing something on the &#8220;outside&#8221; of you, it is the result of something going on &#8220;inside&#8221; you.</p>
<p>This can be a really challenging concept to grasp.</p>
<p>Typically we says things like,</p>
<p>&#8220;I get sick when the seasons change&#8230;&#8221;</p>
<p>or</p>
<p>&#8220;I always get sick once a year&#8230;&#8221;</p>
<p>Based on the Law, these things are the RESULTS of the belief systems that create them.</p>
<p>We cannot experience anything that we are not a vibrational match with.  So if and when we get sick, it&#8217;s because on some level, we are vibrationally aligned with the dis-ease!</p>
<p>Take a look at what I read in Louise Hay&#8217;s book, <a href="http://www.antoniothornton.com/r/heal-your-life" target="_blank"><strong>You Can Heal Your Life</strong></a>:<br />
<strong><br />
Emotional causes of sore throats: Holding angry words&#8230;unable to express the Self.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Emotional causes of pink eye: Anger and frustration&#8230;not wanting to see.</strong></p>
<p>This was REALLY powerful for me.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m not going to bore you with the details of what was going on, but both of these describe the EXACT state of mind I&#8217;ve been in for the past few days.</p>
<p>Your body&#8230; no scratch that &#8211; your LIFE, is a reflection of what&#8217;s going on INSIDE you.  When you see things that aren&#8217;t what you want showing up around you&#8230; they should be red flags or &#8220;indicators&#8221; that you are consistently thinking, believing, or feeling something that isn&#8217;t in alignment with what you say you want for yourself.</p>
<p>Of course, no ones says, &#8220;I want to be sick&#8230;&#8221; or &#8220;I want to be broke&#8221; or &#8220;I want to get fired from my job&#8221; &#8211; but believe me, there is a conversation that&#8217;s going on a subconscious level that&#8217;s creating theses things around you.</p>
<p>So when these &#8216;indicators&#8217; show up, they&#8217;re your opportunity to evaluate what your belief systems are and change them if you choose to.  This goes for healt, finances, relationship&#8230; EVERY part of your life.</p>
<p>Sometimes, you may need someone else to help you see what these beliefs are because a lot of times, they are too deeply rooted for you to see.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.antoniothornton.com/r/heal-your-life" target="_blank"><strong>You Can Heal Your Life</strong></a> is a good start&#8230; it&#8217;s a great way to see what could be causing the things that are showing up around you as it relates to health.</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>Practical Application</strong></p>
<p>Take a moment and make a list of the things that are showing up in your life that aren&#8217;t in alignment with what you say you want for yourself.</p>
<p>Ask yourself, &#8220;What could I be thinking, believing, or feeling about myself that could be attracting these things?</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I went roller skating last night and fell on my butt.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.antoniothornton.com/law-of-attraction/wp-content/uploads/skates.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-356" title="skates" src="http://www.antoniothornton.com/law-of-attraction/wp-content/uploads/skates.jpg" alt="" /></a>The interesting this is not that I fell, but <em>why</em> I fell.</p>
<p>I fell because I was trying not to fall.  You see, I hadn&#8217;t been skating in several months and had deemed myself &#8220;rusty&#8221;.  So I was skating around &#8211; legs and arms stiff, tensed-up and nervous (in other words, worried).</p>
<p>So after going around a few times like that, I tried a side jump (which I always do) and <span id="more-355"></span>fell smack on my butt.</p>
<p>OUCH! (It still hurts as I write this)</p>
<p>I got up and dusted myself off&#8230;then sat down for a while.</p>
<p>As I was sitting there (in pain) I realized a couple of things:</p>
<p>The first is that I hadn&#8217;t fallen in a LOOOOOONG time&#8230; and that I hadn&#8217;t &#8216;worried&#8217; about falling in just as long.</p>
<p>When I was skating regularly, I never worried about falling, and interestingly enough, I rarely did.</p>
<p>The Law of Attraction states that we get what we focus on&#8230; even if it&#8217;s a &#8216;fear&#8217; or something we don&#8217;t want.</p>
<p>After sitting there for a while, I went back out&#8230;this time not worrying about falling. I performed the same jump I was trying before and landed perfectly.</p>
<p>The second epihany I had was the realization that there is nothing &#8220;wrong&#8221; with falling.  My fear of falling wasn&#8217;t really about me hurting myself&#8230;it was motivated by &#8216;not looking bad&#8217; in front of all the people in the skating rink.</p>
<p>But here&#8217;s the reality &#8211; IT&#8217;S A SKATING RINK!!!  People fall!</p>
<p>It&#8217;s not only normal&#8230;it&#8217;s expected.</p>
<p>When I fell, no one laughed; the DJ didn&#8217;t stop the music, turn the spotlight on me and say, &#8220;look at that loser that just fell on the floor!&#8221;  In fact, a couple of people came to ask if I was okay and helped me up.</p>
<p>What was I afraid of?</p>
<p>Nothing really.   Only the ridiculous scenario I came up with in my head.</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>Practical Application</strong><br />
There are three lessons here you can benefit from:</p>
<p>1) Focus on what you want&#8230;not what you don&#8217;t want</p>
<p>2) Loosen up! Just go with the flow of things.  Usually when you&#8217;re tense and fighting things (i.e. struggling, worrying, etc) you tend to attract the things you don&#8217;t want&#8230;at the minimum, you&#8217;ll make things more difficult for yourself.</p>
<p>3) Get clear on what you&#8217;re &#8220;really&#8221; afraid of. <p>Question:  Why not?</p>
<p>Why would anyone want a cake that they couldn&#8217;t eat?</p>
<p>Maybe it&#8217;s just me, but as far as I know, cake is for eating. Am I missing something?</p>
<p>I think the person who said that was coming from a severely limited point of view.</p>
<p>However, I&#8217;ve come to know that this kind of limited thinking can negatively impact the results you get in life.</p>
<p>When someone has the ‘I can’t have it all’ thought in their head, that becomes their reality.</p>
<p><span id="more-265"></span></p>
<p>By believing they can only have a select number of opportunities, or positive experiences, they are limiting the number they will allow the universe to give them, effectively cutting out other possible experiences or opportunities.</p>
<p>That’s essentially saying, “No thanks, no more good stuff for me, take it to someone else. My life just can’t handle any more good times or experiences…”</p>
<p>That’s totally confusing to me!</p>
<p>This limited mindset will cause them to have to choose <em>between </em>things instead of being able to enjoy all the fruits that are on the tree of life.</p>
<p>Life is short, why would you want to limit yourself when it comes to the things you can enjoy and experience?</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>Practical Application</strong></p>
<p>Instead of “ You can&#8217;t have your cake and eat it too&#8230;&#8221; you should be thinking “I can have all the cakes in the bakery and enjoy every bite!” &#8230;as long as I exercise afterwards <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/1f642.png" alt="🙂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>
