As you know, when people say “Let’s stay in touch…” that very rarely happens.

There’s a really good friend of mine that I’ve know for a while now and she and I were talking about how much we enjoy talking to each other. As we were finishing our conversation a few weeks ago, we said “we need to stay in touch…”

But the interesting things is that she said, “We should talk at least every two weeks.”

That was different….but I think it’s the answer to why we don’t ‘stay in touch’ when we say we will… we don’t create finite plans to do so. We just ‘leave it out there’ (mainly for the other person) to just randomly happen..

Lesson 1: Make finite plans to do things… instead of just leaving things up for grabs. They’re 1000 times more likely to actually happen

Anyway, here’s the cool thing I wanted to share…

She called me a few days ago (as we agreed), but I was unable to answer the phone and she left a message. “Hi Antonio, I’m calling to see how you are doing and to touch bases with you as we agreed to do every two weeks…”

I meant to call her right back…but admittedly, I didn’t (I was “busy”)

So yesterday, I was laying in the bed and she popped into my head… I was a little ashamed that I hadn’t called her back in 5 days…

So I immediately jumped out of the bed and called her.

Just at that very moment she was on the way to a seminar of a well known speaker that I just so happened to be talking about the day before.

Here are my exact words: Man I really with this guy would come to Atlanta because I want to see how he does his presentations… (I’m starting a new seminar business and I wanted to get some ‘advice’ from one of the greats.)

Perfect Synchronicity!

I was feeling ‘stuck’ and was a little down about the progress (or lack there of) of this new venture of mine…and decided to CHOOSE to feel better about my situation.

The next day, I get an answer to my ‘prayer’.

Amazing.

Lesson 2: Be clear on what you want and intend it. You have to ‘ask’ for what you want to receive it. Imagine going to a restaurant and not giving the waiter your order…you wouldn’t eat.

Let’s look at all the so-called coincidences that created this situation:

1) I put out the intention that I wanted to meet this guy because of this new venture I’ve started.

2) My friend just so happened to be going to an event he was holding. Not only was the even in Atlanta, is was at the convention center that is 3 1/2 minutes from my house.

3) I totally forgot to call me friend back last week. I say that because if I would have called her last week, she wouldn’t have told me about the seminar because she didn’t find out about it until a couple of days before

4) I get inspired to call her “out of the blue” 5 days after she calls me… and she is on the way to the seminar.

5) If I would have called her 30-minutes prior to when I did, I wouldn’t have gotten her because she would have still been at work and her cellphone doesn’t work in her building

6) If I would have called her 30-minutes after when I did, she would have been in the seminar and had her phone would have been off.

Talk about Devine Intervention.

I totally don’t believe in coincidences…particularly when they happen like this.

Here’s the totally cool thing about this:

This is an area of my life that I’ve been asking for growth and expansion. Things got a little challenging for a while, but I chose to stay with it and push through the discomfort. As a result,

Lesson 3: Just allow. Be open to what ever shows up. 99.99999% of the time, things will NOT come in the way you think they will.

By the way, a good friend of mine has a great blog on allowing – www.justallowit.com

Lesson 4: Listen & Act. When you ask for things, listen for the subtle voice of the Universe answering you. Just as importantly, when you get an ‘answer’ act on it. I didn’t really ‘want’ to get out of bed to call my friend and I definitely didn’t ‘want’ to put on clothes to rush to a seminar. Yet, at the same time, I felt compelled to go .
The post 1 Call, 4 Lessons – The Art Of Allowing first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

As I mentioned in my Scary Room post, I’d never gone into a sauna until last year…no logical reason…I just had never done it.

One of the books I’m currently reading is Way Of The Superior Man (which is a great book by the way). I read something that was really interesting, so I underlined it. It felt really weird…

Why?

Well, In my 30+ years of my life, I’d never written in a book – ever.

I own well over 1,000 books… everything from Astronomy to Zoology.

Until today, I’ve never written in one of them.

Why?

I have no idea why.

For some reason, I’ve had this weird feeling (I wouldn’t call it a fear) about writing in books – even workbooks. I’ve even gone to the extent of making copies of workbooks and only writing on the copied pages.

I was reading this book today, I was really inspired by something I read and wanted to note it in the book, but I was feeling weird about doing it.

(you’re gonna love this) The “irony” was that I was reading a passage about identifying and breaking through your limitations and ‘fears’. And at that very moment, I was aware of how I was feeling at that time and really wondered why I felt weird about writing in books.

Well, instead of going trough some deep psychological evaluation and past life regression exercises, I just wrote in the book. I decided to break thru my feeling about writing in books and just did it.

It was actually pretty liberating.

This may seem pretty small an insignificant to you, but I want you to look at the bigger picture.

Unknown limitations we place on ourselves.

Albeit a weird limitation, it was real.

No, it wasn’t keeping me from living a fulfilled life, but there could be other things just as elusive and ‘insignificant’ that could be.

Practical Application

1) Be aware of ‘silly’ or ‘insignificant’ beliefs or practices that could be limiting your life

2) Be open to simply breaking through limitations instead of wallowing in the ‘whys’ or ‘how I became this way’ conversations. Sometimes, instead of going back to your childhood and finding the specific incident that may have caused the limitation to appear, you may just be better off breaking thru and doing the thing.

The post I Wrote In A Book Today first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

I am one of the world’s best marketers.

There are about 2,000 people in the world who are better at marketing than me. So comparatively speaking, with over 6 billion other people in the world, I’m better at marketing than 99.997% of the entire world’s population.

And I’m proud of that.

I remember a saying I heard while in Texas… “It Ain’t Braggin’ If Ya Done It!”

I thought it was pretty cool because most people are trained to ‘keep quiet’ and not talk about the great things they’ve done.

Why is that?

This makes no sense to me at all.

Based on the principles of Psycho-Cybernetics, it’s in your best interests to talk about the great things you’ve done. It boosts your self esteem, gives you more confidence and increases your vibrations. Which attracts more of the same to you…what a concept!

This is GREAT for when you’re taking on new goals and you may be stuck from fear or being unsure of yourself.

Talking about the things you’ve accomplished in the past is a wonderful boost and reaffirmation that you CAN do great things and you were probably just as scared when you did the other thing, but you got through it and made it a success.

I think the biggest difference is your intention of talking about your accomplishments.

If your intention is to make others feel bad, or to make yourself feel better than others then it falls into the realm of bragging…which can be counterproductive.

I’m sure you’re better than 99.997% of the world’s population at something…

Write it down and proclaim it to the world!

I am one of the world’s best __________ (you fill in the blank)

There’s nothing wrong with doing that.

It’s true isn’t it?

And as they say in Texas…

“It Ain’t Braggin’ If Ya Done It!”

Practical Application

Make a list of all the great things you’ve accomplished in your life.
Keep that list near and dear to you.
Every day, say in the mirror, I am one of the world’s best __________
Feel it, mean it.
Refer to this list when you get stuck

The post It Ain't Braggin' If Ya Done It! first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

Sing along:

You better watch out, you better not cry
Better not pout, I’m telling you why
God is coming to town

He’s making a list and checking it twice
Gonna find out who’s naughty and nice
God is coming to town

God sees you when you’re sleeping
God knows when you’re awake
God knows if you’ve been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake

Oh! You better watch out, you better not cry
Better not pout, I’m telling you why
God is coming to town

Obviously these aren’t the lyrics to this well known song…but hang with me for a minute …I’ll explain where I’m going with this:

I think sometimes we can ‘rob’ God of the awesome power that God has…and we do this by ‘humanizing’ God.

We make God ‘in our image’ versus the opposite. We give God our human-like qualities and limitations like jealousy, judgment, and a plethora of other grossly limiting human characteristics – Just like Santa Claus.

One of the very first things I’ve learned in studying the Law Of Attraction is that it seems to break God out of the box (or chimney) we stuff God in. It shows that God is ALL-powerful and has unlimited ability to do any and everything.

You’ll notice I don’t refer to God as “he” or “him” because again…can I really put God in the ‘box’ of gender? I think God is so much larger than “a dude”.

The lyrics, “He’s making a list and checking it twice, Gonna find out who’s naughty and nice…” is a perfect example of what I’m talking about. God, being in the infinite entity of love isn’t sitting somewhere in the sky with a pimped-out laptop computer keeping tally of all the things you do good and bad; then making a ‘judgment’ call about great your rewards or how severe your punishment may be i.e sinning. That’s ridiculous.

What I see, in the plain of the singular energy (God), is that the energy you place out into the Universe is what you get. Because there is only the one source energy – God and we’re all a part of that same energy. We aren’t separate from God (nor each other).

I highly encourage you to take a moment to hear what a good friend of mine has to say on the topic of humanizing God. Click Here
So it’s impossible to look at ‘sinning’ in that way. I think sinning is an act of energy. You put energy out into the Universe and you get that same energy back. It’s just that simple. You do something “bad” like stealing, you’ll get that same energy back. Not necessarily someone stealing from you…but you’ll get back the energy of lack and limitation that stealing comes from. If you do something that helps the community, you’ll get back the energy of sharing, loving and abundance – period.

Everything else is made up constructs to create fear, limitations and control.

Practical Application
Think about how you are seeing God. Are you trying to stuff God into some cramped chimney? If so, you’re totally ripping God off of the awesome power that God really is.

Let’s strive for an ‘inhumane’ God!!

I highly encourage you to take a moment to hear what a good friend of mine has to say on the topic of humanizing God…Click Here

I’m on the phone with a friend of mine and she’s totally wigging out and I’m trying to help her but she’s making all these excuses for her life.

She’ll complain about the hours she works at her job, and I’ll say, “Why don’t you do something about that”. She says, well it’s not that bad, I only have to work these hours a few times per month.

She’ll complain about how her co-workers won’t do their job and all the work falls on her… So, I’ll ask, “Why don’t you do something about that?”

She replies, “Well, I don’t want to get anyone in trouble and I don’t mind doing the extra work”

We aren’t kids anymore and we don’t have the luxury of ‘mommy or daddy’ coming to fix stuff for us. We have to take responsibility for what’s going in our lives, but the first step is to do an accurate assessment of your situation by ‘admitting’ the truth about it.

Clearly, she has a problems with these things because she brings them up over and over and over and over in our conversations about how stressful and annoying her job is.

But when I say something like, “you should look at finding another job…” or “maybe you should talk to your manager about the things that are frustrating you…” She’s jumps back at me and says, “Oh it’s not that important…just drop it!”

Here’s my point: Things usually don’t change unless we cause change to happen.

We won’t cause change unless we can clearly see that change is necessary. As the old saying goes, if it ain’t broke – don’t fix it. Well if you ‘think’ your life isn’t ‘broke’, you won’t put forth the effort to fix it.

If you’re broke (finances)…admit it and do something about it

If you’re fat…admit it and do something about it

If your job is horrible…admit it and do something about it

If your relationship status isn’t where you want it to be…admit it and do something about it

If your life sucks…admit it and do something about it

Okay, can I be blunt here? If there’s a problem in your life, either do something about it or shut-up complaining.

Not to sound, mean, it’s really about taking responsibility for your life. The first step of that is to stop making excuses for things and being honest with yourself. This way you can accurately determine what you need or want to change so you can do something about it.

You know, I was talking to a good friend of mine that other day, Rodney, and he asked a very provocative question regarding the law of attraction and psycho-cybernetics.

He said, “If we get the types of results that we do and this thing works the way it does, why don’t more people do this? Why aren’t more people actively using the law of attraction and psycho-cybernetics in their lives?”

I don’t have the exact answer to that question, but I have two theories that I think contribute to the fact that the majority of society does not utilize the law of attraction in their day-to-day activities.

The first theory is: ignorance.

Not ignorance in the bad way, but the ignorance as in not knowing. This information has been purposefully and intentionally held back and kept away from the masses by a few greedy, needy people who believe in scarcity and this was held back by a few greedy, short-sighted people who believed in scarcity and limitations and lack. So, this information has not been widely spread for that very reason. So, there are a lot of people who just don’t know, they just don’t know.

My second theory on this is that, it’s actually two-fold; one is that there is a group of people, I’m sure, who have been exposed to this information but refuse to believe it because it flies in the face of what they’ve come to believe their entire lives. No one wants to be told that something they believed their entire lives is not what it is.

You know, you grow up thinking that a bicycle is a bicycle, but someone comes along and tells you “Well, hey look. This is really not a bicycle, this is a tree.” You know, your fundamental belief system around this thing that you know, you’ve ridden a bicycle, you’re friends have had bicycles and you’ve had two or three your entire life and they have always been bicycles, but no, this person comes along and says “Hey! I’m sorry, it’s not it’s a tree!” That’s very difficult to deal with. It’s very difficult to accept objectively.

Which leads to the second part of that of the people who may have been exposed to it, is that, is people who may have been exposed to it and potentially rejected it is that there is a significant level of responsibility that goes along with knowing and understanding and practicing the law of attraction and psycho cybernetics.

One of the first things you have to accept in understanding the law of attraction is that you have created your life; good, bad, or indifferent. The good things that have happened, the bad things that have happened; you created it, you’ve attracted those things to you, and that’s a very tough pill to swallow.

That is very, very difficult to just accept that

I am responsible for getting fired,

I am responsible for my ex leaving me,

I’m responsible for someone stealing something from me,

I’m responsible for this car accident,

I’m responsible for falling down and tripping over the spilled milk on isle 7 at the grocery store;

I’m responsible for the bank making the mistake on my account,

I’m responsible for that library book that turned up missing,

You are responsible for these things…you’ve manifested them, you’ve created them in your life, and that’s a very difficult thing to accept. It’s easier just to say “This thing happened to me.” Nothing happens to you, you create everything that shows up in your reality, everything; good and/or bad, and that is a very difficult level of responsibility to take on, I found that.

By the way on a side note, the people who don’t want to take on responsibility for the things that happen in their lives are usually the exact same people who complain the most about their lives. You know the ones” my ex-wife this, my boss that, my job this, and whatever that; those are the same people who usually complain the most because they’re always pointing at other things that they place their responsibility on their lives for.

You know, they place responsibility outside of themselves onto other people, places or things and usually end up complaining the most.

So don’t get caught up in what could be holding you back from the life you desire.

You know this now…so ignorance isn’t an excuse. The next step is to take responsibility that you are the creator of your life and you’re responsible for what happens to you…both what you want and what you don’t want.

So, take responsibility and create what you want.
The post Why Don't More People Do This? first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

Was just on the phone with a friend of mine as she was talking about her dog…she says, “Oh, I love my dog to death”. A few days ago, I remember another friend saying the same about her dad.

Totally reminiscent of my “Are You Killing Yourself Post“, it’s totally amazing how many phrases we use that are not only dis-empowering, but destructive and outright sabotaging.

If you’re struggling with identifying the areas that you may be blocking yourself from having the life you want, start with your vocabulary.

Just listen to the words you use and you’ll get a glimpse of the thoughts (whether conscious or not) that are creating your reality.

Words are powerful and serve as a conduit between your thoughts and your reality. So “loving someone to death” isn’t really doing them any good.

Please… if you ever find yourself falling in love with me, please don’t “love me to death” I don’t want you to love me that much – I want us both to live

I just finished watching an episode of Fat Albert….not the goofy movie that recently came out, but the cartoon show from the 70’s. It’s amazing to see how positive this show is! The episode I watched was named “Lying”… Of course it was about how telling lies can backfire on you. They sang this really cool song that went, “Don’t go telling a lie-ie…mmmm,mmm,mm,mmmm,mmmmm”

Even as an adult, it felt really good watching it. I was having fun, learning my own lessons.

Another show I think is just amazing is The Cosby Show. If you ever wanted to know how to be a parent, this is the show to watch. Some people said they didn’t feel the Cosby Show was ‘real’ because they seemed too “corny”. I totally disagree. The Cosby show had a lot of real life lessons that were really great parenting lessons.

Not to mention, I really loved how Cliff and Claire interacted with each other. That was some REAL love… Funny, a good friend of mine always refers to ‘really good love’ as “that Cosby Love.” And the way she says it…she kinda hums and hugs herself…a real site to see.

The latest from Cosby is now on Nickelodean, another cartoon- “Little Bill”. It?s the colorful version of Psycho-cybernetics! Watch it sometime, and you?ll be amazed at how Cosby?s characters help kids celebrate the every day events. Not just the amazing things that happen in our lives here and there, but the little things that happen every day, and the people we share those things with. In ?Little Bill?s? world, kids can make a difference.

Makes me wonder what’s going on with the cartoons of today.
Anyway, Cosby is THA’ MAN! Good television.

Try some
The post Hey…Hey…Hey!! first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

What are you waiting for? So many people tell me they want to start a business? and when I ask what they?re waiting for- they usually have the same answers.

They say:
I’m waiting for the right time?
I’m waiting until I have the money?
I’m waiting until I finish this and that?

Well I think people who are “waiting” all the time for a “better time” are living life like it?s a dress rehearsal for the REAL LIFE that?s going to happen after you?ve practiced long enough.

But let?s think about that for a moment. We only get one chance at life (or at the very least, one chance at THIS particular life, if you believe in reincarnation?) there is no dress rehearsal. There is no better time than right now to do all those things you want to do.

We only have the right now.

You?re never going to have the money if you think you won?t ever have the money!
As I said in the I Get High On My Own Supply post, it?s like putting a carrot on the stick in front of you.

While you?re waiting for the “right” time, the entire time you?re thinking, ?this is not the right time? so of course- it?s never going to BE the right time.

There are some ?real? limitations to ?doing things? or are they?

You could be 18 and you want to open a bar?well you can?t. At least not in the U.S. Because you?re under age. So you might have to wait until you?re 21?or do you? You could open the bar in your dad?s name, or your uncle, or brother?

You may be saying, “I don?t have the money to open my business right now.” I mean, you can?t open a store on just wishes alone?right? And that is a real limitation?
Or is it?

It doesn’t have to be your money.

You may be thinking, “I have a million thing going on right now and I don?t have the time to do whatever?” But while you?re finishing up the million things you have to finish before you can do what you want to do, there are a million other things piling up that will need to be done and you?ll never find yourself with nothing else to do.

You have to make it the “right” time. You can?t wait for permission to do anything.

Just tell yourself it?s the right time, and it will be. We are not practicing for the grand opening- every day is the opening night? you have to make every moment count.

Wow…

This just hit me a few moments ago…

Millionaire Mind Intensive

Do you want a million dollars or some other outrageous amount of money? Do want a phenomenal mate Let me ask you this: Do you deserve it?

Well, on a ‘spiritual’ level, yes, you do… but do you emotionally deserve it?

For example: Lottery winners. 95% of lottery winners are in a worse financial situation a year after they won the lottery.

Why?

Because they still have a broke person’s mentality. I talk about this more in my snap back post…but here’s my point.

Think about this…

You may be sitting there, working on manifesting a million dollars but with the same mindset you have now.

You know what I think? this is huge…I think this is one of the reasons why you may not be getting the things you want. If you aren’t ready for what you’re visualizing, the Universe knows this and may not bring you what you want because you may feel you don’t deserve it, you may not be able to handle it, or even being afraid of getting it on a subconscious level.

So, don’t focus on the money…focus on the mindset. The millionaire mindset. Visualize being a millionaire instead of visualizing a million dollars.

If you desire to be in a great relationship, visualize being a great partner instead of having a mate…

Do this in all areas of your manifestation and I know the things you desire will come so much faster.
