Worst Case Scenarios

You may still be thinking about your goals for this New Year, but fear may be holding you back from actually moving forward.

When you stop to think about the risks, you would see that there really are none. You actually gain from overcoming certain fears. You may gain wisdom, self-esteem, or even a new business venture.

You may also picture the worst case scenarios that could happen. While this might be a possibility, you probably have also come to realize that the worst case scenarios, more often than not, never happen.

Fearing to Overcome Fear

Why do you hesitate to overcome your fear? Is it because you think that you have something to risk? Maybe it’s because you have lost your self-confidence?

These emotions that you may feel are all by choice; you induce them upon yourself they don’t come from your fears. You choose to feel a lack of confidence or doubtful about yourself or the goal, which causes this fear. So there are times when you simply have to get over it quickly.

It Only Seems Real

The acronym for FEAR is False Evidence Appearing Real. It’s the ‘appearing real’ part that we have to really pay attention to. If it appears real in our perception, it appears real in our reality, and that is significant enough to ultimately prevent you from overcoming your fears and accomplishing your goals.

Follow these steps to overcome your fears now:

1. Write down all your fears that are holding you back.

2. Say to yourself “I will no longer allow you fears to keep me from the life I desire. I decide right now that I’m in control and I can have the life I want. I can accomplish any goal I set before myself. I am free of your bonds and I release you.”

3. Then take the paper and burn it.

This is symbolic of you letting your fears go completely and there’s no looking back.

No longer allow fear to control your life. Now is the time to move forward toward the life you deserve!
The post How To Overcome Your Fears And Attract Your Dreams In 3 Easy Steps first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

Are you getting more upset because you were upset because you are upset? Does this situation sound corny but true? Use the law of attraction to get out of the loop.

Simply put Law of Attraction is just

Ask

Believe and

Receive

Understanding the Law of Attraction in theory is very simple. All of us subconsciously know and believe in the Law. It’s been preached to us through centuries by gurus who have also doubled as life skill teachers. The hard part is to comprehend and apply the law of attraction to one’s own life. It seems then that the universe is conspiring to put road blocks in the way.

The trick to make the law of attraction work for you is to know and control your emotions. The Law of Attraction is based on subjective reality. In simple words, the basic premise is that for you, the world mirrors exactly what you are inside yourself.

Consider this … if you are angry, that is exactly what you will get. If you are feeling helpless and broke, the universe is not going to listen to your fervent prayers for money. It will send you back more of that helplessness and poverty. The smart thing to do is gain control over thoughts and emotions. Then you can actually make this law work for you.

Let me explain ….
Every student of the Law of Attraction is looking for abundance. But if you, for instance, have been brought up to believe that rich people are bad and unscrupulous or that you are an ordinary middle class person, you need to change that way of thinking.

Practical Application

How to Get Out the Loop:

Understand your emotions

Gain control over those negative feelings.

This is the most important step to making the Law of Attraction work for you.

Life will immediately become better as you replace “upset” with “happy”.
The post Get Out The Loop! first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

What is your one wish for the world? Is it to end wars, poverty, crime, sickness, or some other tragic occurrences in this world? If we understand and treat everything as if we are all one we can make extraordinary changes for ourselves and ultimately the world. Read this article to learn how.

The post What Is Your Wish For The World? first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

If you could have one wish for the world, what would that wish be? Some would say “I wish wars would stop”, or “I wish crime…”, or whatever the case may be. I thought about it for a moment and this is what came to me.

What’s Our Problem?

I think 99.99% of the problems we face as human beings lies within this one area of misunderstanding. It is the belief in the fact that we are separate, meaning I’’m separate from you, you’’re separate from the next person. It’s this disbelief or the failure of believing that we are all one. Not in the kind of corny, we-are-the-world type of scenario, but really, we are all one entity. We are different and distinctive individuations of that one entity, but we are all one.

We Are All One

When you think about the beginning or the source, whether you believe in the Big Bang, or whether you believe in the creationism theories, it doesn’’t matter. It’’s the exact same scenario that everything began as one, and everything is still a part of The One. Regardless if that “One” is God, dense matter, or whatever you believe, – we are all one, because we all came from Source.

I think what happens, over time and over years in our evolution of intellect, we have gotten away from that understanding that we are all one entity. That’’s where the belief in separatism, and specifically, duality comes into play – the difference between good and evil, right and wrong, – those types of things.

I say, specifically ‘entity,’ and not ‘we’re one people,’ because I think it encompasses all things, trees, grass – everything comes from one Source. Again, I have to emphasize, it doesn’’t matter what your religious or scientific background is, whether you believe in evolution or creationism. Everything started from a single Source, and if everything started from that single Source, then that means that everything is that Source. There is no other than The Source. It’’s just Source, regardless, whether your opinion of Source is dense matter or God. We’’re all that, or we’’re all OF that, if you will. If we’’re all that, we’’re all one.

The Bottom Line

So, all the things that most people would have wished to have gone away such as, war, hate, anger, fear, etc., would have been abolished. There would be no need for people to perpetuate those acts, if we truly understood that we are all one. You cannot do anything to anyone else that is not also done unto yourself. So, you wouldn’’t yell, steal from, hit, or hurt another person, because you would know that you would ultimately be yelling, stealing from, hitting, or hurting yourself.

To answer the question, if I had one wish, that wish would be that everyone understood and truly accepted the reality that we are all one.

Practical Application

All I want you to do is try these two things for a whole week (7 days):

1. Keep a smile on your face
2. Greet everyone you meet with a heartfelt hello

I want you to take notice of the positive things that will manifest from that simple act of kindness. Keep in mind, while practicing this, that you are one with all and treat everything accordingly.

The post What Is Your Wish For The World? first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

Do you know when and how to use a negative motivator to create a positive situation? Look at those areas where you may not be making significant progress based on the positive motivators you've surrounded yourself with. Maybe a negative motivator is now the answer for you.

The post When To Use A Negative Motivator vs. A Positive Motivator – Hater Motivator (Part 2) first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

Now that we’ve talked about negative motivators, the question remains: Do you know when and how to use a negative motivator to create a positive situation?

Know Yourself

I always talk about the importance of knowing yourself. This is critically important as it relates to any subject matter, especially dealing with the Law of Attraction. So the key is knowing yourself, and what your mind, body, and psyche respond to.

-One Size Doesn’t Fit All

I don’t believe that something that worked for one person is going to work for everyone. Someone could get good results doing visualization, someone else could get poor results. One person I know does well in meditating and I also know people who can’t meditate more than a-second-and-a half.

–Will You Allow Your Negative Motivator to Help or Hurt?

When we talk about a negative motivator, – let’s go back to Bill’s situation (from Part 1) where the sister says, “You’ll never be good enough. You’ll always be a drunk…” Some people will listen to that and get discouraged.

Someone may say, “You’ll never do good in business by yourself ‘cause you’re horrible at math”. Or “You’re unorganized and you’ll never be successful in business”. You may believe that to the degree where you decide not to start that business. That’s something that you have to be aware of within yourself. In Bill Bartman’s story, he used it as a negative motivator. Will you?

Practical Application

How Did He Do It?

This is what Bill Bartmand did – he took the sister’s name, Wendy, and put it on his desk. At that time he was in college, and when it came time for him to go out and party when he needed to be studying, or if he was working and just wanted to quit, he looked at her name and remembered what she had said about him, and he pushed through whatever he needed to push through. You can do this too!

Make a list of those who you can use as negative motivators

Put this list somewhere you will be able to see it regularly throughout the day

When you see this list of negative motivators allow the feelings to push you forward in a positive direction

He carried this practice into his adult and business life as well. Clearly, after having become a billionaire, we see that his negative motivator had a positive impact on his life.

-Important Disclaimer

That is why I say you have to know yourself, because…WARNING (pay attention to this part) WARNING, a negative motivator – if you’re very sensitive, empathetic, emotional, etc. – may have a “negative impact” on you. In this case you may want to avoid those types of situations. However, if you know that the people who doubt you can ultimately push you through, even when you’re doubting yourself, then you can use these negative motivators in your life.

Look at those areas where you may not be making significant progress based on the positive motivators you’ve surrounded yourself with. Maybe a negative motivator is now the answer for you.
The post When To Use A Negative Motivator vs. A Positive Motivator – Hater Motivator (Part 2) first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

The post Let Your Haters Be Your Motivators (Part 1) first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

There’s a colloquial term that a lot of the kids use nowadays – I know I sound like an old man, term these kids use; whippersnappers. Yeah, there’s a term that the kids say now, “Let your haters be your motivators.” It’s a really prolific term, if I do say so, and very forward-thinking, because it has a lot of significance to what it is.

What’s A Hater?

To give you a background to know what a “hater” is. A hater is one who is typically jealous or envious of someone else to the degree where they have either disdain or dislike for that person for no other reason than jealousy. That would be your technical definition of a hater.

It’s one thing to be jealous but it’s another thing to say, “Oh, that such-and-such; he’s nothing”, or “He thinks he’s better than so-and-so”, or “He’s really not that good”. That’s what a hater is. It’s someone who has disdain for someone else, specifically and solely based on jealousy and for no other reason.

Negative Motivators

So this phrase, “Let your haters be your motivators,” I think, is a very provocative concept. I say this because I remember listening to Bill Bartman, who is a billionaire, and he’s also known as the Unknown Billionaire, written up in four entrepreneur magazines and such. He talked about this concept that I’ve been thinking about for quite some time, and he calls it “negative motivators”.

He goes into telling this story about how his fiancée at the time, sister, was very down on him. He had made some bad choices, if you will, and had grown up with a certain type of lifestyle. And this sister would say, “Oh, you’re not good enough for my sister; you’re just a loser, you’re just a drunk”…, blah-blah-blah.

He used that sister as a negative motivator. He used her to help propel him forward. That’s what a negative motivator is – it’s a seemingly negative event, negative occurrence, and/or person/people that can propel you forward in life.

Practical Application

Think about the people or situations around you right now that you can use as negative motivators to move you from one place in life to the next or to reach that next goal.

Make a list of these people or situations that you can use to make positive changes in your life, however large or small that change may be.

Next to each person or situation write how you can use this negative motivator to create something positive for yourself.

As you find yourself around the people or situations listed remember your list and how you want to continue moving in a positive direction. Remind yourself of your goals, the lifestyle you want, and how you see yourself achieving them. Before you know it, you too will be telling amazing stories about your haters being your motivators.
The post Let Your Haters Be Your Motivators (Part 1) first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

When you ask for money do you focus on having wealth now? Or do you focus on the gap between where you are and where you want to be?

The post Living the Law Of Attraction: Be Wealthy Now first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

People say to me all the time “Antonio, I really want to have money – I think about it all the time! Why aren’t I getting any richer? Where is this power of Attraction?” Of course you want to be rich and you say you want to be rich, but are you living in a way that puts you in harmony with wealth?

What Are You Thinking?

When you ask or wish for more money, are you focusing on being wealthy now? Are you happy just imagining the wealth that is yours? Or, are you focusing on the gap between where you are and where you want to be? If you’re thinking about the latter, then you may be feeling sadness or frustration thinking about the wealth you don’t have. When you feel sad or frustrated it brings your vibration down and you are not going to get what you desire. The goal is to bring your vibration up with positive thinking.

So now you may be wondering, “How can I live and think as if I am rich, when I ‘m constantly reminded of the many things I can’t have?”

This is the beauty of using the Law of Attraction, all you need to do is make a small shift in your attitude about money. This will make a huge difference in your economic future. Many people live in a pattern that makes it impossible for them to acquire wealth – no matter how much they want it.

Always Be Aware of Your Thoughts

When you are at a store and you see something you want, is your first thought, “I wish I could afford that, but I can’t.”? If so, this is producing the feeling of lacking wealth, therefore creating that negative reality. I want you to replace that thought with, “I can’t wait to have that!” or “Won’t it be great when I have that!” This will create a positive, happy feeling and subsequently alter your reality for the better.

These and many other positive thoughts will put you in alignment with having the things you want. This is an instance of living the Law of Attraction that will move you closer to the wealth you desire.

Practical Application

Be aware of your thoughts and take control of them.

Positive thinking is the key to attracting wealth.

Positive thoughts in all situations brings your vibration up and puts you more in line with the things you want.

Remember your thoughts will become your reality!

Okay, so a lot of people have been asking me why I have a Mac emblem on the back of my Dell computer. Well, there’s a couple of reasons:

One is that I want a Mac.

Sorry PC guys….I’m going over to the other side. I’ve been getting so frustrated with going back and forth with the issues and ills of owning a PC.

I’ll probably keep my laptop…I’m not just going to throw it in the trash but I’m just at the point now where I’m conceding that the Mac is just by far a better computing system…especially for what I’m doing–podcasting, video stuff and few other things–it’s just a better platform to be on.

From my understanding and from what I’ve seen and heard from other people, Macs just have less problems, less viruses, all that stuff. It’s just one of those things where I’m just really wanting to get into a Mac.

The other reason why I have the Mac emblem there is related but more specifically as it relates to the law of attraction. I want to manifest a brand new Mac book Pro in the next 3 months – for no money at all.

The Mac I want, including tax costs $5,919.43. This is for the 2.93GHz Intel chip, 8G of RAM, 256GB solid-state drive–plus other software stuff.

That would be the absolute perfect computer setup for me and What I want to do is to manifest it without paying a dime for it…
So, having the Mac symbol on the back of my dell is just a constant reminder of what it is I’m looking to manifest.

Maybe the computer won’t just show up out of think air, maybe it will. But, I’m not limiting myself to it “magically showing up…I’m also open to the possibility of having an influx of $5,900 above and beyond my regular income. Like some unexpected new projects, or a check from stuff I did months ago…if anything like this occurs, I’ll feel that it’s the answer to my desire.

So for all of you who are wondering why I’m walking around pretending to be a Mac guy, (what this one guy said in Starbucks the other day) that’s what I’m doing. I’m manifesting a new computer for myself!
The post Living The Law Of Attraction: Manifesting A MacBook Pro first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

The post Living The Law Of Attraction: Are You Keeping It "Real" first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

I’m soooo fortunate to be surrounded by absolutely brilliant people.

A good friend of mine and I were talking and she used a phrase that I don’t typically hear her say…

“Keeping It Real”

It’s a colloquial term used by a lot of the ‘young folk’ meaning a myriad of things ranging from, not selling out to ‘tha man’ to appreciating culture…and everything in between.

We laughed about it, then got into a really interesting discussion about “keeping it real”

The “Keeping It Real” we were referring to was regarding your desires.

Are you keeping your desires real?

What I mean by that is are you keeping them “real” in your mind? As you know, your subconscious can’t tell the difference between what’s real and what ‘s not… so when you imagine something, your subconscious believes it’s real…

So the more you imagine something, the more “real” it becomes to your subconscious and ultimately, more real in your life.

PRACTICAL APPLICATION
Keep your dreams, your desires and aspirations “real”. See them as happening now. See them as easily achievable and attainable… and the more you see them that way, the faster you attract them into your ‘reality’

The post Living The Law Of Attraction: Are You Keeping It "Real" first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

I was talking to a woman the other day about getting together for lunch. She shook her head at me sadly.

“I can’t,” she said. “I’ve got to go to work that day.

She honestly sounded so down and depressed that I figured that she hated her job and asked her if she did. She said no… and went on so say… while it wasn’t the best job in the world, it was not the worst one either. From the look on her face, though, you’d think she was digging ditches or scraping gum off bathroom walls..

Of course, seeing this as an opportunity for growth… I asked her to try something: I said, “Instead of saying I’ve ‘got’ to go to work, say I ‘get’ to go to work.”

It made her smile, and I could tell that she was a little skeptical, but she promised to give it a try.

Changing “got” to “get” may seem really insignificant…and you might be wondering how this will change your situation….but the truth is: your thoughts (subsequently you words) create your reality.

What most people don’t realize is that we make our own happiness… however, at the same time, we make our life miserable, frustrating, etc. This all comes from the words we use to describe things.

The way that you choose to see a situation will definitely determine how you respond to it, both physically and emotionally.

Remember that your body takes cues very easily. Have you ever found that when you smiled, you actually started feeling happier? Even by changing something that minor, you are cuing your body to be more receptive and to enjoy itself more.

When you’re in a place where you’re feeling down about everything and discontent, be aware that this is something that can easily snowball on itself. You’ll find that when this happens, it is so easy to lose momentum and energy…and it can spiral out of control. This is where depression comes from… it’s just an ongoing choice to feel bad, then it gets worse and worse, until it ‘seems’ to be out of control.

Make a conscious choice to improve your attitude and the way that you see things.

Like the woman I talked to the other day, instead of saying that work is something that you’ve “GOT” to do, recognize it for a privilege and a joy – because it is. What’s the alternative???

There is something positive in the situation if only you can find it.
– Do you get to make other people happy during your job?
– Are you pleased to make the day easier for your co-workers?

It is true that not all of us have our ideal jobs, but there is definitely something bright to look for.

You could say that you have a job where people call in with complaints all day, or instead you can say that you have a job where you help people towards customer satisfaction. It’s all in how you view it.

Practical Application

Though this may sound the typical “half empty/half full” rhetoric… please don’t overlook this very important lesson.

Be aware of what you’re saying because it’s creating your reality “as you speak”.

The post Get vs Got: How Changing Your Words Can Change Your Life first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

Falling on my butt taught me some good lessons in overcoming fear.

The post Law Of Attraction: I Fell On My Butt first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

I went roller skating last night and fell on my butt.

The interesting this is not that I fell, but why I fell.

I fell because I was trying not to fall. You see, I hadn’t been skating in several months and had deemed myself “rusty”. So I was skating around – legs and arms stiff, tensed-up and nervous (in other words, worried).

So after going around a few times like that, I tried a side jump (which I always do) and fell smack on my butt.

OUCH! (It still hurts as I write this)

I got up and dusted myself off…then sat down for a while.

As I was sitting there (in pain) I realized a couple of things:

The first is that I hadn’t fallen in a LOOOOOONG time… and that I hadn’t ‘worried’ about falling in just as long.

When I was skating regularly, I never worried about falling, and interestingly enough, I rarely did.

The Law of Attraction states that we get what we focus on… even if it’s a ‘fear’ or something we don’t want.

After sitting there for a while, I went back out…this time not worrying about falling. I performed the same jump I was trying before and landed perfectly.

The second epihany I had was the realization that there is nothing “wrong” with falling. My fear of falling wasn’t really about me hurting myself…it was motivated by ‘not looking bad’ in front of all the people in the skating rink.

But here’s the reality – IT’S A SKATING RINK!!! People fall!

It’s not only normal…it’s expected.

When I fell, no one laughed; the DJ didn’t stop the music, turn the spotlight on me and say, “look at that loser that just fell on the floor!” In fact, a couple of people came to ask if I was okay and helped me up.

What was I afraid of?

Nothing really. Only the ridiculous scenario I came up with in my head.

Practical Application
There are three lessons here you can benefit from:

1) Focus on what you want…not what you don’t want

2) Loosen up! Just go with the flow of things. Usually when you’re tense and fighting things (i.e. struggling, worrying, etc) you tend to attract the things you don’t want…at the minimum, you’ll make things more difficult for yourself.

3) Get clear on what you’re “really” afraid of. Sometimes it’s some imaginary scenario that will never happen anyway.

The post Law Of Attraction: I Fell On My Butt first appeared on Antonio Thornton.
