										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It&#8217;s still early into the New Year but already people have given up on the New Year&#8217;s resolutions. I hope you&#8217;re not one of them. If you are don&#8217;t worry there&#8217;s still plenty of time to get back on track you just have to<span id="more-1208"></span> be careful what you say.</p>
<p><strong>Broken New Year’s Resolutions<br />
</strong><br />
Surely, at least once in your life, you have made New Year’s Resolutions. And most likely, you have broken at least one of those resolutions.</p>
<p>Come to think of it, why do some people have such negative thinking towards resolutions?</p>
<p>Whenever a friend says, “Oh, my New Year’s resolution is…” some would just scoff, chuckle and say, “Yeah, right &#8211; New Year’s resolutions.”</p>
<p>This thinking towards resolutions is something that shows us how powerful such simple words can be. If that is your view towards resolutions, well, guess what it brings you – broken resolutions.</p>
<p><strong>Change the Words</strong></p>
<p>Now, think about a promise you have made to somebody. You probably did everything you could to fulfill that promise because it is a promise. You changed your priorities, thought of your other commitments, and made sure that you fulfilled that promise.</p>
<p>People have a different connotation with the word ‘promise.’ Most of the time, people take promises more seriously.</p>
<p>Think about this: you might have promised yourself that you will buy that new mobile phone when you get the chance – and you did. You did because you promised.</p>
<p>But when you say last year&#8217;s resolution was to lose weight, and you didn’t, you just showed yourself how unimportant resolutions are for you. You must create an equally high importance on your resolutions as you do your promises because your word is your word whether it&#8217;s to yourself or someone else. It&#8217;s much easier to to let yourself down then to let others down since you only have yourself to be accountable to.</p>
<p>No longer let this be your pattern make a change today to choose your words wisely and follow through. Try this: make a promise or commitment to yourself this New Year – not a resolution. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Moving Mountains Begins With A Baby Step </strong></p>
<p>When you want to do something but you&#8217;re not sure where to start, you’ve probably heard somebody tell you &#8220;Just do it and take the first step.&#8221; Perhaps this is something you&#8217;ve heard for the longest time.</p>
<p>However, you may be hesitant to take the first step. You may end up losing your confidence, and therefore do nothing.<span id="more-1185"></span></p>
<p><strong>Doing Something is Better than Nothing</strong></p>
<p>When you want to accomplish something, merely thinking about it is not enough. You have to do something to move forward.</p>
<p>Suppose you are afraid of completing a task because you don&#8217;t know how it will end up. Well, doing nothing will get you nowhere near your goals.</p>
<p>On the other hand, those baby steps that you can take will bring you closer to completing your accomplishments– even if it takes a long time. These baby steps will slowly add up and before you know it you have reached your goal.</p>
<p><strong>Baby Steps Will Take You There</strong></p>
<p>Taking one small step at a time will help you to get where you want to go. Every little move you make will point you in the right direction to achieving your ultimate goals– no matter how small it is.</p>
<p>The most important thing is that you do something and start somewhere. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We all wish that we could have a smooth life with loved ones around, good financial security and of course good health? However, sometimes we attract unpleasant people and situations into our lives.</p>
<p>One of the most demoralizing and emotionally crippling one is when<span id="more-1184"></span> someone we trust lets us down.  You then take the stance that you will never forgive them! Have you ever said that? Maybe you said that years back and are still holding that grudge.</p>
<p>Sometimes it may seem as if there is no end to the betrayals and bitterness cycle. And of course the closer the relationship, the deeper the hurt. Who would not justify a grudge against such betrayal?</p>
<p><strong>What Is Forgiveness?</strong></p>
<p>It is very important to understand that forgiveness;</p>
<p>·        does not mean that you are condoning what was done to you</p>
<p>·        allows you to decide you are not going to live with this hurt feeling anymore</p>
<p>·        will allow your wound to heal</p>
<p>·        will allow you to move ahead</p>
<p><strong>To Err Is Human To Forgive Is Divine!</strong></p>
<p>These eight words, are so simple yet so powerful.  Remind yourself of this until its true meaning sinks into the depth of your spirit.</p>
<p>·        Humans, being emotional creatures, make mistakes and as a result knowingly or unknowingly end up hurting someone.</p>
<p>·        We ALL make mistakes, no one is infallible.</p>
<p>·        To forgive is a decision made consciously and requires inner strength and discipline.</p>
<p>·        This decision is of your higher being and therefore divine.</p>
<p>·        Divinity brings purity, hope, joy and peace</p>
<p>·        Against such there is no LAW</p>
<p>·        Forgive and experience the great strength that lies in you.</p>
<p>You live life only once so don&#8217;t waste part of it on someone or something that does nothing but bring pain or hurt?</p>
<p>Decide that you will set yourself free and break loose from these bonds of hurt.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Why do people meditate? It’s because they need to relax or feel better. But you have to be careful, though, as meditation or visualization can also do you harm.<span id="more-1183"></span></p>
<p>Meditation takes you back to a more relaxed state. During this state of relaxation people often times misuse it. They think about the wrong things when they meditate, so they end up feeling worse than they did before meditating.</p>
<p><strong>Meditating With The Wrong Thoughts</strong></p>
<p>When you ask some people, they say that they meditate because they are angry and they want to relax. This is entirely wrong. The moment you meditate while you are angry, you are actually creating more of that particular feeling – so you end up feeling worse.</p>
<p>Instead, bring yourself to a state where you do not have any negative emotions. When you reach that point of feeling, only then should you start meditating.</p>
<p><strong>Stay Free Of Negativity</strong></p>
<p>The things you do while you are in a particular mood or state creates that same emotion. So when you feel negatively while you visualize or meditate, no matter how hard you try, you will not be able to bring positivity in your life.</p>
<p>You have to know how to let go and get yourself on the positive side of life. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There may be times in your life when you feel as if you can&#8217;t take it anymore. You panic, run around, do meaningless things, then start all over again. You freaked out because something in that particular situation triggered you. The thing you must remember is<span id="more-1141"></span> not to let that ‘freak out’ take over your feelings.</p>
<p><strong>Freak Out…Then Let Go</strong></p>
<p>It isn’t bad to freak out, but you must learn to know when to <em>stop</em> freaking out. When you are in that particular state of mind, any and everything that you do will cause negative feelings. It’s the same as when you do things in reaction to being sad – those behaviors while you are sad emits more sadness.</p>
<p><strong>Creating Under Negative Vibes</strong></p>
<p>It’s quite true that positive vibes call forth positive things, and vice versa. When you allow yourself to be taken away by some sort of &#8216;freak out&#8217;, you tend to lose yourself. You lose your positive thoughts.</p>
<p>The best thing to do is stop and think about this stuff once in a while. Once you feel that you are panicking, or frustrated, simply stop.</p>
<p>Ask yourself why do you feel this way, and if you want to feel this way. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Consider the very wise words of Winston Churchill who said that, “Success is going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm.” What did he mean exactly? Well here are three reasons as to why failing is a good thing:<span id="more-1134"></span></p>
<p><strong>1. Inspiration</strong> – before you laugh, think about as a child when you didn’t get something right the first time… and you tried again… and again, each time the thought in your head was “I am going to get it right this time!” What better motivation do you need?</p>
<p><strong>2. Humility</strong> – no one is perfect, though there are people who think they are. But, can you imagine a world where no one ever failed and we all walked around thinking we were God’s gift to the world?</p>
<p><strong>3. Learning</strong> – Success makes you feel good, but failing teaches you a lesson. Think back to the first time you swung a bat, learned to walk, or tried to eat with a fork. Did you do it right the first time? I doubt it, did you figure out with each failure what you were doing wrong? Well, if you can swing a bat, walk and eat with a fork today (of course not all at once, lol), then I would guess you did.</p>
<p>It takes a lot of character and courage to continue to fail in order to achieve the greatness the Universe has in store for you. The more failures you have the more successes that will be coming your way. <p><strong>To Change Or Not To Change?</strong></p>
<p>To know the answer all you have to do is look for changes in you. Has there been a change in your thinking; in your life style? If yes, then you have grown and if not, then<span id="more-1128"></span> you have been stagnant!</p>
<p>Amazingly everyone seems to be averse to change. However there is no progress without change and no change without progress. Everywhere you look in nature, change seems to be fueling the circle of life. Some changes are natural, some acquired; some are desirable while others are not.</p>
<p>In humans, change and progress are the result of ‘Learning’. No, learning does not stop with school and as someone rightly said, ‘Life is the biggest school and we are all students”!  It is this education that we should all be concerned about.</p>
<p><strong>Biggest &amp; Most Valuable Lesson</strong></p>
<p>What has been the greatest or most valuable lesson you have learned in life? Some may say, “Never trust anyone” because they may have been hurt in the past. Others may say, “Money is the most important thing in life; if you have money you have everything”. Each one of us will have different answers as a result of different experiences.</p>
<p>However, these are not lessons but are our response to things that happened to us. The biggest and most valuable lesson that we need to learn is:</p>
<p><strong>“You reap what you sow”</strong></p>
<p>·        <em>You sow ‘charity’ you reap a life of abundance and satisfaction.</em></p>
<p><em>·        You sow ‘happiness’ you reap a life full of joy.</em></p>
<p><em>·        You sow ‘peace’ you reap a life surrounded by friends and well wishers.</em></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>What would you do if you found yourself deprived of all sensory stimulation? Imagine for a moment that you wouldn&#8217;t be able to see anything, there was dead silence and all of your senses weren&#8217;t working.<span id="more-1122"></span></p>
<p><strong>What Happens?</strong></p>
<p>Many people in situations like this would allow their mind and imagination to take over and run wild. When we are put in a situation that is unfamiliar and our basic senses are not working, it can be very scary. We may begin to perceive the situation as best we can. However, without all the information, especially without the use of our senses, our perception can be very wrong. Yet and still we will go on living in our created reality and ideals.</p>
<p><strong>Is it True?</strong></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It&#8217;s important to evaluate your own individual goals when thinking about your accomplishments as every person will have a different set of goals and will need a different strategy for achieving those goals.</p>
<p><strong>1. Visual reminder-</strong> Once you are able to <span id="more-1109"></span>see your goal clearly, you can remain focused and motivated to achieve it. Any kind of visual reminder can motivate and drive you to succeed. Some people post a picture of their ‘dream body’ on their fridge when they are trying to lose weight or use their ‘ dream car’ as their computer screen saver at work.</p>
<p><strong>2. Search for role models-</strong> Look for inspiration from those who are on the same path as you, it could be your father, a friend or a CEO of a company. Ask questions and allow their positive energy to influence you. Learn from the experts and their experiences, of how to get where you want to go.</p>
<p><strong>3. Visualize yourself at the end-</strong> Visualization is important to improve yourself and attain your goals, therefore you must see or visualize yourself there. Focus on the direction you want to go for success, create positive thoughts and positive visual images in your mind. Visualize yourself losing weight and fitting into that size 10, feel the breeze on your cheeks as you drive that sports car. Seeing is believing!</p>
<p><strong>4. Make use of time lines-</strong> Keeping track of your successes and/or achievements can help you put your goals into perspective to see how far you have come. To improve yourself, it is important that you recognize your efforts and be proud of what you have done, are currently doing and where you are going.</p>
<p><strong>5. Keep jealously aside-</strong> To watch someone on a similar path, attain their goals sooner than you, can be hard for you to accept, but you need to get rid of this envy and resentment. Overcome these feelings and you will be that much closer to reaching your own success.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Some time ago, Daylight Savings Time was done a little different, every Sunday, clocks were shifted every twenty minutes. There wasn’t the hour shift as we&#8217;re doing today.<span id="more-1096"></span></p>
<p>They didn’t even think about the countries and the cities that don’t participate in Daylight Savings Time. Nothing changes for those who do not participate, but it does change for the people who do.</p>
<p>What do you we get from this idea? You see, there is the idea or understanding that you can create your reality just as easily as you can change your clock one hour forward or backward.</p>
<p>People create their own realities because they agree to it. People agreed to use the same language, street names, and education system. The moment people agree to a common thing, that particular thing becomes the reality.</p>
<p>If you need permission, I’m granting you permission right now to change your life to whatever it is you desire. But really, do we need permission to change our clocks forward and backward?</p>
<p>Look at this way: somebody suggested the idea for daylight savings time. A few people liked the idea. Then a few more liked it. Then, everyone came to say, “Yeah, hey, we like this idea. We’re going to do it.”</p>
