http://antoniothornton.com/r/expectation - Law of Attraction and crackers: A law of attraction lesson from a 20-month-old

I was taking my daughter Aria to Gymboree today (it’s like a fun, learning gym for kids) and got a really cool lesson in the Law of Attraction that I thought I’d share with you.

I realized something about children that most adults don’t use in their lives.

– Expectation –

She wanted some crackers and kept saying,

“crackers…crackers…crackers…crackers…”

Not screaming or yelling, just calmly (and persistently) saying “crackers.”

If you have kids or ever been around a 20-month-old when they want something, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.

Children EXPECT to get the things they want…EVERY time.

They don’t understand the concept of asking and NOT receiving what they want.

Most adults tend to ask for the things they want “passively” or “doubtfully” – and consequently, they end up NOT attracting the things they desire.

Here’s how to ask and get the things you want:

Go here: Expectation

Antonio

FYI – You don’t have to continuously as for things over and over like Aria did, but I do EXPECT you to click here to discover how to get the things you want
The post Law Of Attraction And Gold Fish Crackers first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

The post 3 Reasons Why Failures Are Awesome! first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

Consider the very wise words of Winston Churchill who said that, “Success is going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm.” What did he mean exactly? Well here are three reasons as to why failing is a good thing:

1. Inspiration – before you laugh, think about as a child when you didn’t get something right the first time… and you tried again… and again, each time the thought in your head was “I am going to get it right this time!” What better motivation do you need?

2. Humility – no one is perfect, though there are people who think they are. But, can you imagine a world where no one ever failed and we all walked around thinking we were God’s gift to the world?

3. Learning – Success makes you feel good, but failing teaches you a lesson. Think back to the first time you swung a bat, learned to walk, or tried to eat with a fork. Did you do it right the first time? I doubt it, did you figure out with each failure what you were doing wrong? Well, if you can swing a bat, walk and eat with a fork today (of course not all at once, lol), then I would guess you did.

It takes a lot of character and courage to continue to fail in order to achieve the greatness the Universe has in store for you. The more failures you have the more successes that will be coming your way. Remember to stay encouraged and always keep moving forward!
The post 3 Reasons Why Failures Are Awesome! first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

Do you know how to prevent assumptions from getting in the way of your dreams? You will after you read this.

The post Is It Really Safe To Assume? first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

As a child you may have wanted a toy in the store but didn’t tell your parents because you knew they wouldn’t buy it. Or perhaps when you were in high school, you liked someone but didn’t tell them your feelings since you knew you would be rejected. How could you have possibly known those things?

You didn’t, you simply assumed.

What’s Wrong With Assuming?

Simple, assumptions are not always true. They are only what you think they are. In reality your assumptions could result in many different endings. Who told you that your parents wouldn’t buy that toy for you? Or how did you know that person in high school would reject you? You tell yourself the things you want to believe. These assumptions can stand in the way of your true desires. Therefore, assumptions begin to create your reality.

Playing It On The Safe Side?

You may say, “My assumptions allow me to play it on the safe side, and prevent me from being disappointed.” But how will you get the things you desire if you are afraid to take risks? Your parents may have bought that toy, or your high school crush could’ve went on a date with you. All you needed to do was: Take a risk and/or ask!

Start taking risks today; be brave enough to ask those tough questions. You’ll be surprised at the positive responses you get. Even if you do get a rejection, brush it off and keep moving forward.

In the long run, you’ll be grateful that you took control over your life and no longer allowed your assumptions to hinder your dreams.
The post Is It Really Safe To Assume? first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

When you ask for money do you focus on having wealth now? Or do you focus on the gap between where you are and where you want to be?

The post Living the Law Of Attraction: Be Wealthy Now first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

People say to me all the time “Antonio, I really want to have money – I think about it all the time! Why aren’t I getting any richer? Where is this power of Attraction?” Of course you want to be rich and you say you want to be rich, but are you living in a way that puts you in harmony with wealth?

What Are You Thinking?

When you ask or wish for more money, are you focusing on being wealthy now? Are you happy just imagining the wealth that is yours? Or, are you focusing on the gap between where you are and where you want to be? If you’re thinking about the latter, then you may be feeling sadness or frustration thinking about the wealth you don’t have. When you feel sad or frustrated it brings your vibration down and you are not going to get what you desire. The goal is to bring your vibration up with positive thinking.

So now you may be wondering, “How can I live and think as if I am rich, when I ‘m constantly reminded of the many things I can’t have?”

This is the beauty of using the Law of Attraction, all you need to do is make a small shift in your attitude about money. This will make a huge difference in your economic future. Many people live in a pattern that makes it impossible for them to acquire wealth – no matter how much they want it.

Always Be Aware of Your Thoughts

When you are at a store and you see something you want, is your first thought, “I wish I could afford that, but I can’t.”? If so, this is producing the feeling of lacking wealth, therefore creating that negative reality. I want you to replace that thought with, “I can’t wait to have that!” or “Won’t it be great when I have that!” This will create a positive, happy feeling and subsequently alter your reality for the better.

These and many other positive thoughts will put you in alignment with having the things you want. This is an instance of living the Law of Attraction that will move you closer to the wealth you desire.

Practical Application

Be aware of your thoughts and take control of them.

Positive thinking is the key to attracting wealth.

Positive thoughts in all situations brings your vibration up and puts you more in line with the things you want.

Remember your thoughts will become your reality!

I’m 5’9″ and weigh about 170 pounds. (no jokes please…yes I know I need to lose some weight )

Though I’m as “big” as I am…I ended up getting totally frustrated by something that was about 1/10,000th my size.

I got a tiny pebble in my shoe.

This pebble had to be about 2 millimeters round… so small that it would have taken about 100 of them to equal the size of a penny. But it got in my shoe somehow and it was irritating me.

The funny thing is that I noticed it as I was walking into the building where I was about to do a presentation. I “tried” to ignore it so I could just do the presentation, but the irritation was so bad that it actually started impacting my performance.

It got so bad that I actually had to stop in the middle of the presentation and take off my shoe to remove it….geez!

So once I got the pebble out, the irritation was gone and I went on to complete a fabulous workshop.

So what’s the moral of this story?

Find the pebbles in your life and get rid of them.

The pebble in my shoe was something that needed ‘immediate attention, but sometimes we can allow things to just linger on, causing subconscious unrest and irritation.

If this goes on too long, it can start having a huge impact in other area of your life.

Practical Application

Sometimes we allow “little bitty” things to irritate us. Whether or not we do this consciously or not, we allow the little irritations to bother us, which can sometimes negatively impact other areas of our lives…when we can just as easily get rid of them.

Some “pebbles” you may want to get rid of:
The garage that needs to be cleaned
That broken char that need to be thrown out
The touch-up paint job that needs to be completed
Anything you’ve been ‘putting off’ for months/years

Get rid of these things because they could be robbing you of your joy.

The post Living The Law of Attraction: The Rock In My Sock & Stopping Irritations From Ruining Your Life first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

Hi everyone,

I’m sure you’ve wondered…what the heck happened to the ThinkBanc Law Of Attraction Blog???

It’s been a whirlwind of excitement, joy and learning since Aria arrived… almost overwhelming.

I’ve had to restructure my business (and life) and a lot of things fell through the cracks, like this blog.

But, I’m happy to say that things couldn’t be better right now.

I’ve hired 3 new assistants and have systemized a lot of my business activities… which has created more free time and ironically, more money.

It’s amazing how things work.

Having a baby has forced me to streamline my life and as a result, my business is stronger and more profitable than before.

Geez.

I also want to mention that I have a lot of things planned for the blog. More action-oriented tips (things you can do to get immediate results), guest bloggers, more resources and much much more.

So be on the lookout..

Practical Application

So here’s the lesson for today… go have a baby!!

Just kidding.

But seriously, I want you to take a look at what things you can streamline in your life… Even without having experience the life change of having a newborn.

Ask yourself…what would I do differently if I could only work 4 hours per day? I’d even suggest that you ask, “What would I do if I could only work 1 hour per day!?!”

Asking yourself these questions will change the way you look at what you do…

To your success

The post New Look, New Direction… first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

But then hours…sometimes DAYS go by and it hits me like a Mac Truck.

A few weeks ago, I read a really interesting post by Catherine Franz about how to see “want” isn’t true. Initially, I thought the blog title was misspelled, so I overlooked it and didn’t “get it”.

But, I was driving down the street the other day and the it really hit me.

I can’t really can’t explain the point here…because you won’t be able to “get it”. Like I did. Take a look at it and let me know your thoughts…it should only take you about 5 mins to read… and no, you don’t have to read 300 words per minute
The post Want Isn't True first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

It’s amazing how your environment can impact your behavior.

I’m just left Philly, doing a business mastermind session and I was told on a couple of occasions that, I was acting “uncharacteristically aggressive”.

One person even went as far as saying, “If I didn’t know any better, I wouldn’t know you weren’t from Philly.

Hmm…uncharacteristically aggressive… in other words: “mean”.

That was funny to me…because a few days prior, I was caught saying, “The people here are really mean…even wen they’re being nice to each other, they’re being mean.”

I said this as a result of an incident I had in Philly:

I was in a car where the driver was letting a person cross the street…the driver told the guy to cross, then the guy told the driver to go…eventually, they got into a shouting match about who should pass first. Geez

The very same day, I was in a funeral procession and the person in the car with me nearly got into a fist fight with another driver because they almost cut us off (reminder: this was during a funeral)

Of course “people in Philly” aren’t mean… that was just my limited perception at the time.

However, it made me think about a conversation I had a few weeks ago about how people from the North East (New York, Jersey, Philly, etc) seem to be more “aggressive” that people in the South.

Disclaimer: If you’re from the NE, please don’t get mad at me…because the conversation was actually started by a guy from NY who said, “Why are people in Georgia so nice? It’s really weird, and freaking me out.” Go figure, “nice” freaks someone out.

So, in the conversation we were talking about what factors impact the makeup of a city, a community and ultimately the individual. We talked about the weather, the politics, the income per capita, etc. Even one woman talked about the energy of the Earth in those areas.

Whatever the reason, the one common theme is that people allow themselves to be influenced. (going back to my favorite word – choice).

They’re choosing to be influenced.

This is one of the reasons why most smokers’ children are smokers; abusers’ children are abusers, etc.

No one HAS to act like their parents, no one HAS to behave like their neighbors… it’s a choice.

Though sometimes we have to adjust ourselves to ‘fit into’ situations…meaning: you probably don’t talk to your friends like you talk to your mother …and vice-versa… we can still choose to be who we are.

After recognizing how ‘aggressive’ I was being, I chose not to continue acting that way because it wasn’t serving me.

Practical Application

Take some time to identify what areas you’re allowing your environment to influence you.

Ask yourself why you’re doing it. Is this how you “really” want to act? Is this getting you closer to your life goals?

CHOOSE to be YOU…not your parents or neighbors

The post Brotherly Love? first appeared on Antonio Thornton.

A few years ago, I did a product with a guy and he “ripped me off” by selling it and giving me nothing for it. initially I was bummed about it and was going to ‘go after the guy’ but realized that it wouldn’t be worth it.

About 2 years ago, a guy heard the audio and was impressed with the information I provided on the audio. He Google’d me, found one my websites, then bought one of my products.

Just 1 month ago he ended up attending the event I did in Ohio… and now he’s a $2,000 coaching client.

The intention I had for creating the audio was to help others and show myself as knowledgeable in the area of the audio program but the situation didn’t turn out that way at that time.

However, YEARS later it’s turned into a much better opportunity for me AND a cool story to add to my next book.

Practical Application

Focus on keeping your intentions ‘pure’ and don’t allow temporary setbacks to get you off track. The universe knows what it’s doing — every time. Sometimes timing isn’t what we think it should be but everything ALWAYS happens when it should and as it should.

A few days ago I heard the old Bobby Fuller song, “I Fought The Law…But The Law Won” and it made me think about how people try to ‘fight’ the law of attraction by doing things they think aren’t impacting them.

EVERYTHING you do is cause.

Therefore it WILL have an EFFECT.

It’s the law and you can’t get around it, no matter how sneaky, under the radar you do it…you can’t beat it.

Even though you may think it’s a small thing, anything you do that is a negative energy action, WILL have an effect on you.

Some things to consider:

While you may think it’s nice to let your friend ‘borrow’ your software to put on their computer, it’s stealing.

If you don’t have a trash can nearby and toss some trash on the ground, you may try to blame it on the fact that no one thought to put a trash can nearby, but you’re littering, pure and simple.

Even killing insects that have done nothing to harm you is something to consider. You may not like seeing them, but does that warrant a death sentence for the bugs?

A lot of times people tell white lies to keep a situation from getting too stressful. Call a lie any color you want, it’s still a lie.

How about ‘borrowing’ pens, paper, or staples from your job…even running personal copies. Here’s something you may not want to hear… personal phone calls…all can be put into the bucket of ‘stealing’

Many people think it’s OK to do things if they don’t get caught. You’re caught before you do it! Even if no one else knows about it…you know, your mind knows, the universe knows that you put the cause out, and you will attract the effect.

Practical Application

Look at your actions over a few days. How many things do you do that aren’t in alignment with the things you want for yourself, but you consider ok because no one is “hurt”, or no one knows?

Consider the negative energy you are sending out into the universe because of these little things.

Do you really want the effect that you are going to receive from that?

The post I Fought The Law…But The Law Won first appeared on Antonio Thornton.
