Law Of Attraction And The Secret On Oprah | Update

Hi everyone,

Been getting a ton of emails asking about the Oprah Winfrey show with the teachers from The Secret: Rhonda Byrne, Lisa Nichols, James Ray, Dr. Micheal Beckwith, and Jack Canfield.

Here’s the latest:

Oprah was going to show the Secret episode live today, but because of how great the show was going to be, she decided to record the show to edit it. They did the recording today.

So look for The Secret on Oprah in the next few days.

    Hi thanks Janice,

It’s always great to hear things from more than one source. I appreciate you mentioning it.

Millions of people are being mislead by this false idea that words are containers of force and we can shape our world by our mind and mouth. This false new-age religion is leading people away from the One person we can rely on , and that is Jesus Christ. He alone has the promise and secret we need. He alone can help us with his message of how to become the person we were meant to be. For a complete description of these wrong teachings and how to understand them, read “Christianity in Crisis” by Hank Hanegraff. When you don’t know scripture and it is used out of context, you fall for a lie, wrapped up like the truth.

    Memama,

As always, I appreciate comments from different points of view. However, I don’t recall the Law of Attraction being a ‘religion’… That would be like calling the Law of Gravity a religion.

The law of attraction is a universal principle that supports the idea that what you think about, you bring about. This is stated many times in the Bible.

I’ve studied the Bible my entire life and on an academic level for 4 years. Though I don’t claim to know everything, I do feel I have a good understanding of the bible – more than most Christians.

Scripture can be just as easily misunderstood and misinterpreted by Christians as with any other person. Our goal is to study to gain our own understanding.

    This is my understanding.

I am in general NOT a person that can sit down and focus long enough to read a book, today of course I can interpret my bible w/ no problem…unless I try reading it in the bed and we all know that’s NOT a good idea! But when I stumbled upon this book at my local Barnes & Noble shop, I simply HAD to have it.
