Stop Doing That!

A guy walks in to the doctor’s office and says…

“Hey, Doc… It hurts when I do [this]”

The Doctor says,

“Stop doing that”

{pause for laughter…} (or laugh track if you didn’t think that was funny) 🙂

One question I get a lot is, “How do I stay positive in such a negative world?”

The Answer is: “Stop doing that” 😀

What I mean by that is:

First thing you can do for yourself is, stop saying we live in ‘such a negative world’. Just the saying of this creates more of it.

Secondly, if you have identified things in your life that don’t bring you joy, “STOP DOING THEM”

If they’re people you associate with, stop associating with them

If it’s the places you go (including work), stop going

And yes, I’m going to be bold enough to say this… if it’s the relationship you’re in, stop.

You do not HAVE to do ANYTHING in this world….EVERYTHING IS A CHOICE.

  • You’re choosing to go to the job you have,
  • You’re choosing to be in the relationship you’re in
  • You’re choosing to hang out with the people you hang out with.

Practical Application:

CHOOSE to do something different.

Choose to ONLY do the things that bring you joy.

Yours In Creation,

Antonio

    Antonio,

Great advice! For some reason people seem to think that they are “stuck” dealing with negativity, when in all actuality all they have to do is walk away!

As James Arthur Ray says, we must avoid things that weaken us, and surround ourselves with things that strengthen us!

    Antonio,
How refreshing to have someone tell it like it is, leaving the linguistic garble behind. I have recently realized myself that I have been doing for everyone else and misery has been abundant. We learn through constant repitition or impact. I am listening to the repititious warnings sent now and intuition is my guide once more. I am forgiving myself for allowing my power to be taken as I know it is something that I have to be willing to give. And by all means STOP DOING THAT! I look forward to more of your guidance in the future, I Thank You in advance. You are a blessing asked for and answered.

Simple and yet profound words. I’ve found that many people don’t realize the choices they make in how they feel and what they do. Yet once we do, the world is ours!

Thanks for telling it like it is, Antonio. I love your style!
