No Autographs Please…

If you’re up past midnight you may or may not have seen an infomercial selling an internet marketing product called, “Clicks to Cash.” It shows you how to set up websites and start making money on auto pilot.

Well, I’ve been getting a lot of emails and phone calls asking if that was me on the infomercial. I’ve even had people stop me in the grocery stores, here locally in Atlanta, asking me about the commercial.

Well, the answer is… Read more

TB(w+A)=t The Formula For The Law Of Attraction

Every single physical thing we encounter began with a thought.

In other words: thoughts become things.

But the concept of ‘thoughts becoming things’ isn’t easily explained…especially scientifically. Mainly because in science, there’s a method used to determine what is ‘scientific’

Wikipedia describes science as a system of acquiring knowledge based on the scientific method, as well as to the organized body of knowledge gained through such research.

So the challenge here is that thought becoming things can’t be proven using a scientific method for one simple reason:

We can’t tell what someone is thinking.

We have the technology to tell WHEN someone is thinking, but not WHAT.

However on the other hand, here’s the definition of Applied Science: the exact science of applying knowledge from one or more natural scientific fields to practical problems.

So looking at the APPLIED principle here we can ‘apply’ a scientific formula for the equation of ‘thought becoming things’.

This could potentially be represented by this formula: T=t

(“T” being thought, and “t” representing the physical manifestatio n of the thought) However, that’s not the whole equation.

The initial thought, backed with belief, leads to the words we say, which leads to the ACTIONS we take, which leads to the manifestation of the things we see in our physical reality. The better equation would be:

The Law Of Attraction Formula

Here’s an example of how a thought can become a physical thing: Take the phonograph – There once was an idea that sound could be recorded and then listened to at a later time; just as text could be written and read at a later time. That concept sparked Thomas Edison to think about how the human voice could be recorded and played back. The belief that it could be done reinforced this thoughts. That led to the words and actions required to create such a device. Voila . . . the advent of the phonograph (the thing).

I’m sure there were many, many experiments and activities that went on throughout the duration of Edison inventing the phonograph. Yet the fact still remains: it began with thought.

His thought became a thing.

However, action (A) is a BIG part of this equation. Without it…the equation is out of balance and doesn’t work. So no matter how hard you think, how hard you believe, how much you talk…there is still action required to manifest the things you want in your life…even if that action is merely ‘receiving’ the thing you’ve asked for.

So, what can you take away from this: Regardless if you believe in the Law Of Attraction, this principle works and it’s real.

No, the formula I’ve presented to you isn’t a ‘real’ scientific formula, but it’s as close as we can get until we can scientifically read people’s minds.

Practical Application:

1. Know that the Law Of Attraction works all the time, every time: What you think about, you bring about.

2. Be as conscious as possible about what you’re thinking.

We have over 60,000 thoughts per day so you can’t write each one, but try this for a day or two: At the top of every hour, stop and write down if your predominant thoughts were positive or negative. If they were negative, write down as many of the negative things you were thinking as you can remember and ask yourself “why am I thinking about _____” – Are they worries, fears, etc.

If they’re positive, write down as many as you can remember and keep them close to refer to them as often as possible.

Remember, your thoughts are like magnets, pulling the things you think about towards you…whether you want them to or not.

As I always say,

Control your thoughts….they control your future.

I've Got…The Blues? Give Me A Break!

Was looking for lyrics to a song…I accidentally ran across these lyrics to a popular ‘blues’ song…

Boys I’m most done travellin’, Lord I’m at my journey’s end
B’lieve I’m most done travellin’, Lord at my journey’s end
Well I been lookin’ for me a good partner, bad luck is my best friend
Lord I was born for bad luck, bad luck is everything I see
I was born for bad luck, bad luck is everything I see
Well I wonder why, bad luck keeps on followin’ me
There was thirteen children in my family, I was the last one born
Thirteen children in our family, I was the last one born
I was born on bad luck Friday, lord on the thirtheenth morn’
[Play it Jim]
Bad luck is just like my shadow, follow me everywhere I go
Bad luck is just like my shadow, follow me everywhere I go
Till they follow me one time, back to my best gal’s door…

Okay, maybe it’s just me…but does anyone feel ‘better’ after listening to this?

People ask me why I don’t listen to music and watch television – Duh.

Of you listen to the blues – STOP!

Taking in negative energy like the news can be challenging enough, but when you couple negative energy it with music, you’re actually making it much more powerful.

Here’s why:

When you hear music, the ear converts the sound waves (energy) into vibrations in specific parts of your inner and middle ear. These vibrations are translated into action potentials (stimuli) that travel through nerve to the brain stem, the thalamus, and the auditory cortex. Based on the research that’s been done it appears that the brain takes a song and translates it into it’s own neurosymphony-sending massive amounts of electrical impulses to various parts of your brain. These impulses generate thoughts, feelings, and emotions and are reportedlyconnected to memory.

In plain English – when you hear music (ANY music), it stimulates a part of your brain that’s connected directly to your emotions & memory. That’s why when you hear a certain song, it brings up the same feelings you had when you listened to that song the most. Also, you can hear a song that you haven’t listen to in 15 years and remember every lyric.

So what’s my point?

Because you’re stimulating parts of the brain that control emotions, thoughts and memory while taking in negative song lyrics, you’re reinforcing those lyrics with the ‘power’ of music. Not good 🙁

Practical Application
Take 2-3 hours this weekend and look through all the music you listen to (also the radio stations you listen to)… If it’s not uplifting, motivating or empowering…please consider changing your music selection.

If it’s about losing the love of your life, having bad luck, or “dropping it like it’s hot” – Trash it!

The A-S-K principle

I got this from Dr. Reggie Johnson. Truly, a brilliant and gifted man.

He came up with an anagram to remember to use the law of attraction in your life

Ask and it is is given…
Seek and you will find…
Knock and it will be opened…

I thought this was really cool and wanted to share this with you…

Enjoy.
